Truly disgusting room- moldy, peeling paint, in total disrepair and filthy. I tried to do laundry and even asked for quarters at the front desk and they didn't bother to tell me the dryers are out of order- so after running clothes through the washer (with trash and debris in laundry room and no lighting) I had to take the wet clothes down the street to a truck stop to dry them. The parking lot was in disrepair and had green slime growing on it which is a slipping hazard. Even though the room was "non-smoking" it was next to a smoking area and it smelled terrible.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. They charged us even less than the already cheap price when we arrived. And they had breakfast (nothing fancy but we werent expecting anything). Breakfast is also served from 2am-10? so if you got the munchies for some waffles at 3am, you got it. Room was clean, tub paint was peeling but what do you expect from a motel? Only 10 min from Buttonwillow racetrack. Also there's a really great indian place not more than a mile down the street.

I wasn’t expecting too much from a room that was priced this low, however, this room wasn’t worth it even if it had been free. It was somewhat clean. After driving all day I just crashed and decided to shower in the morning. Before the shower I went out for coffee and when I came back to the room, #115, without using the key I was able to open my door. I tried it a couple times and sure enough the door did not lock. No key was needed. I then proceeded to shower. The single knob to turn the water on with only spun around. No water, no shower. Also, from a large vent in the ceiling, water was dripping out onto the floor. I put a towel there to absorb the water so I wouldn’t slip and fall After taking a bird bath in the sink, I left and told the young woman at the office that this room should not be rented out until these things were fixed. If I make this trip again in the future, I’ll stop at a rest stop and sleep in my car. Avoid this motel.

Staff lacked help, rude house keeping and the rooms filthy with mildew everywhere. It’s worth the low price and there is good waffles in the morning!
