The location of this Hilton is the best feature along with the helpful staff. There is worn/torn carpet everywhere. The property is very dated in terms of overall feel, other than the main lobby area which is immaculate. They list around 9 restaurants, but that includes a breakfast buffet, a pastry area, a closed sports bar, a non-connected Egyptian restaurant and the rooftop restaurant; the Italian/Indian restaurant was fairly good.

One of the best located hotels in Cairo

It's one of the best located hotels in Cairo. Unfortunately, I didn't get the room type I've reserved, even that I have been upgraded, but I used to stay in a specific type in this hotel for almost the last 15 years.

Great atmosphere but service could be better

Unlike all my other bookings , I never received a welcome email from Hilton. I tried to contact them to book the restaurants for my stay. I chose Hilton because of the revolving restaurant. Once I got there , I was told it was fully booked . They eventually let my mum and I get a booking on 1st Jan, we saw it was empty and not fully booked as advised. Not sure why a hotel will treat their guests in this way. Having said that the service and food quality at the revolving restaurant was top notch! I recommend it to all visitors.
