poor maintenance

told staff that room door would not close unless forcefully closed - they did nothing to rectify; told them again the next day and they showed little interest. front desk staff simply took out a small Post-it note and wrote something and that was it

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Room was clean. When booking on Expedia we were under impression parking was free and no other charges but parking 5.00 per day and 25.00 incidental fee which we are not sure what that was for!

Great home base for our weekend trip to Charleston! 10 min drive to downtown Charleston and similar distance to Shem Creek and a bunch of restaurant options. Conveniently located to get in and out for our trips downtown. Would definitely consider this over staying downtown considering the price difference for a similar hotel!

My favorite hotel in town. Staff is great professional but not stuffy location great in-house bar has great food overall a great relaxing experience and isn’t terribly expensive
