The person at the front desk, Matheo (sorry if the name isn't correct), was very kind. He helped us and gave us suggestions, which were all right. The room was very nice, even had a kitchen. We had a good experience. We would stay again.

Get away.

The property is perfect completely updated and very comfortable. We only had a couple of days to re-up our minds and we found the place....close enough to the crazy in D'tona but close enough to get out in the evening.

The staff made us feel comfortable and were very accommodating to any of our needs. The room is was beautiful and clean not what we expected at all. We had absolutely no issues with our room nor the staff. Meagan the housekeeper was friendly informative and deserve's a promotion. She really takes her job serious. The front office is beautifully designed with a nice sitting area. As for the staff you have Marina very professional, friendly, and will greet you with a smile when you check in. In the office overnight you'll have Chris there who walks the property and is professional, friendly, and he takes pride in his work. This is a beautiful spot to stay at if you're looking for a clean room, good staff, clean swimming pool and right on the beach. True peace and tranquility. Stay here

Wonderful stay, front desk staff was the best ever, so professional and friendly. Such a nice experience !! Room was very clean and beds were comfy, AC worked fantastic. Never used the pool deck but the facilities were beautiful, wonderful ocean front view. Cleaning staff was right on for anything at all you might need. Even though I own a condo up the street I chose this hotel while my AC was being fixed, what a great choice, couldn’t have been more satisfied !! A good restaurant right across the street. I HIGHLY recommend the Ambros Hotel 👍

A recently refurbished property which is extremely clean and very modern looking. A great location at a very nice price for a quick getaway. We had trouble with an A/C unit that did not allow us to get the room cooled down enough, so we contacted the front office, and although the staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful, we were unable to get the unit to cool further, as the thermostat did not allow us to drop the temperature. We also had an issue with the bottle of shower gel being empty. Doesn't sound like a big issue until you're in the shower expecting to pump it out and use it. Went to office and they told us it WAS full, we used the hand soap at the sink instead. Overall, an ok visit. Perhaps as time goes on the "kinks" in the system will work there way out.

Overall my stay was excellent. The hotel is recently redone and everything is very clean overall and well taken care of. The room itself was clean, slight layer of dust on the window sills and other surfaces, some light dirt on the floor which is why I did not give it a five. The hotel property is very nice, they appear to have been cleaning the pool everyday as it has been amazing. Hotel grounds are clean. They just did landscaping while we were there. We had an excellent stay and even extended it a night. I also think our stay was so wonderful due to the staff, and I'd like to specifically call out Marina and the gentleman that works nights for making our stay that much more enjoyable with their professionalism and attentiveness.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ambros. Check-in was quick and easy, room was clean, and the hotel overall was very pretty. Beach access via the pool deck was very easy and I enjoyed that there was a hose to hose down your feet and beach chairs/umbrellas. I recommend staying here!

The amenities are very nicely updated ! Super clean! The pool area overlooking the beach is fantastic! Very close to major attractions and great restaurants! Staff is super friendly! Love this little place!

Husband and I made a quick overnight beach getaway. We arrived before check in. Beach access is through the pool area but you need a key to get back in. The young lady at guest services gave us a key to access a restroom to change clothes and be able to access the beach/pool. The room was nice and the bed was comfy! Only downside, A/C doesn’t go below 70… we keep ours at 68! Overall, great hotel! We will definitely be back!

Loved that the pool area overlooked the beach, and the ability to walk right out onto the beach. The rooms were updated in a classy spa-like way. The staff was kind and efficient. There needed to be more towel rods, hooks, or a drying rack for towels and wet suits.
