This was once a very nice hotel. Walking into the lobby, I was hit with the stink of Fabulouso. There were a bunch of people cleaning the main areas, but the rooms were horrible. It looks like they started to renovate them years ago, but left the walls unpainted the furniture scratched signs of leaking from the ceiling. items ripped off the wall and I’m pretty sure they did not change the sheets or pillowcases on the beds as there was the shape of a head and one pillow which smelt like perfume and the sheet was matted down against the mattress the hallway was filthy. The furniture was old I hardly slept the whole night.

Bed was comfortable, bathroom very small, no elevator, so had to walk bags up the stairs. Tv was old , and picture was not good. Shower strong. Parking was good, no issues . Room needs to be updated, as they seem tired. Location is great. No food to purchase at all. Place was good for what I needed it to be.

The gym is not at all like the photo in the Expedia website. There is no longer a weight training machine and was removed months ago.There is 2 stationary bikes but only one is connected and there are 2 treadmills. Not much of a gym. The photo is a misrepresentation and should be removed. The photo of the patio area shows multiple tables with chairs and umbrellas. Again another misrepresentation, there is only one picnic table and a small plastic bench. Not even close to resembling the photo in the Expedia website. They have recently installed Roku TVs . I was not able to view any of the major networks or local tv channels. When I asked about the tv problem at the front desk , no one was able to help me. A staff member came to my room to help and after a considerable amount of time of trying to help without success, said he would return to solve the problem but never returned. However the room was clean and the climate control was operational

Thank you overall it was good /adequate for the price we paid. The room was big enough and the bathroom was clean . The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice. The toiletries provided were nice, and it was nice to have a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. I liked the additional sink and mirror outside the bathroom so that we both could get ready. The Muttontown Preserve and Chelsea Mansion were within walking distance- which was nice, as well as several deli's and restaurants. On the negative side, the floors were a bit dirty, and the furniture was a bit run down. We could hear the talking and TV in the next room. The gym downstairs in the basement was just ok. The front desk staff were efficient and professional, but not friendly at all. There was no coffee in the lobby, and the in room coffee was just those packets. but good to have. Overall for the price it was ok.

This inn is no more than average and maybe a little less. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff for the most part were indifferent and never went the extra mile. Neither did the smile. Given that there is no food service the vending machines could be stocked with more than unhealthy snacks and there should be some information available on nearby takeout options. Again this just reflects the overall attitude of indifference.
