Dirty and disorganized

Room was not cleaned properly. Used face cloth on floor, nicotine patch on floor, candy on floor. The worst part was there was Marijuana residue on the dressing table. It took 3 times complaining for the facecloth and candy to be removed. The Marijuana was never cleaned up. I even took it to reception on check out so no other family would have to witness this. The overall organization of the hotel was a shambles. Our friends had over $450 charged in additional fees. Be very careful if staying here, we would not return.

Second story pool was continually going under maintenance and being closed much earlier than the posted times. When it was open there was a lack of towels to dry off. Property was overall fairly clean, but you are able to find things at just about any turn if you look.

Do not say here if you don’t have an extra $600 on hand ON TOP of what you’ve already paid for the room. They take a $625 security deposit when you check in and charge almost $600 in ridiculous fees when you check out that are not mentioned. If you have a rental car they have a NON OPTIONAL valet, which was extremely inconvenient if are in and out a lot like my family was, there is no where else to park near by. Come prepared or don’t come at all (which i would recommend the second option)

The hotel and the rooms were not clean. Stains on the sheets and bathroom had marks in shower and sink. One of the light fixtures fell in the room as well.

I had the pleasure of visiting the B Ocean Hotel for a 1-night stay, and while the hotel presents itself beautifully, the experience left much to be desired. I arrived at 3:40 PM, understanding that check-in was strictly at 4 PM, but didn’t receive my room until 4:46 PM. I was told I had one of the largest rooms available—a double bed ocean view—but the room felt incredibly small, and the beds seemed closer to twin size. That said, the ocean view from the balcony was beautiful and probably the highlight of the stay. The staff were mostly pleasant and accommodating, but several aspects of the hotel were disappointing. Both the pools and the private beach closed at 6 PM, which gave us very little time to enjoy them—especially frustrating with kids in tow. The room lacked basic amenities like a microwave, so reheating food was not an option. Even worse, there was no hot water. I tried showering both in the evening and early morning, but the water remained cold. Be aware that gratuity is automatically added to everything at the bar and restaurant, so double-check your bill. Also, the valet parking fee is $55, which can add up quickly if you’re staying more than one night. In summary, B Ocean Hotel has great presentation and a prime beachfront location, but that’s about it. Given the lack of amenities, inconvenient closures, and hidden fees, I would not recommend staying here or consider returning myself.

Positives: Balcony room had beautiful views. Lobby, restaurants, and common areas were very nice. Rooms were in need of updating and VERY small. Prices for food and drinks were astronomical.

I expected ocean view to be a non-obstructed ocean view. You should list an option for “partial ocean view” and “full ocean view”. We were disappointed that our view was far way and we had the other building in our view.

We loved B Ocean Resort. Great hotel with lots of amenities! We didn't have to leave the resort if we didn't want to. Great location- walking distance to restaurants and shops and the Water Taxi! We will absolutely stay there again.

It was beautiful and relaxing and the staff were all super polite, kind and helpful. Especially Marie at the front desk, the guys at the beach the ladies at the Salty Siren, the valets, waitstaff at breakfast even the workers at Starbucks were so great! You must treat your staff right because they genuinely seem like they like their job!
