After a long trip to get to this hotel we were very disappointed that the restaurant that was advertised as being open for all meals was completely closed so no food at all. Was told the restaurant was not open because the owner was not there, strange. That was our first disappointment. When entering our room the first thing we discovered was a dirty rag in the sheets which I took to the front desk. This female staff member was very apologetic about this. On the last morning the toilet would not work after several tries, so final straw. We were so disappointed we decided to leave a day early but we could not inform anyone because there are no staff members on duty at night or early in the morning when we attempted to checkout. When trying to call front desk a security guard answered but said there was nothing he could do and that someone would be in at 8am. Went to the front desk at 7:45am While there waiting there was another guest that was disappointed and also attempting to check early. We waited until 8:10 and no front desk person showed up We left a note at the front desk that we were leaving and to please credit our room for that day and to call us to confirm. A male staff member did call and said it should be no problem but he had to ok it with a manager and would call back. When he called again he said they would not credit the room back to us and they had checked and the toilet was fine, very strange.
