We enjoyed being so close to the beautiful beach on Sanibel and having dining options on the premises. The hotel room itself has some items that need repair, but over it was decent and the AC was good. We enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely resort, not too big and not too small. Right on the beach, very nice property. Convenient location to other restaurants, stores, and bike rental. Staff were all super friendly. What a beautiful resort! My room was comfortable, in excellent shape, and very clean. Housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room’s location looking out on the pool was perfect as it provided easy access to the beautiful beach as well as to the pool itself and the pool bar. In addition, the resort provides comfortable chaise lounges both at the pool and on the beach. There are also several shaded hammocks located in the palm groves between the pool and the beach. The food from the pool bar was excellent! The shrimp tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Isaiah at the pool bar was a delight to interact with, personable, friendly and extremely efficient. Samantha at the front desk was also excellent. I spoke to her in person or interacted with her by phone several times. She was always friendly and clearly communicated answers to all my questions. My only issue was that noise from adjoining rooms woke me up early on several mornings. My neighbors were not loud but you can hear speech or TVs through what must be rather thin walls. I would suggest ear plugs for light sleepers like me. Otherwise, I highly recommend Sanibel Island Beach Resort.

Five stars simply do not do this resort justice. I booked a special 55th wedding anniversary getaway for my parents at Sanibel Island Beach Resort, and the experience was magnificent from start to finish. The level of customer service, from the moment I made the initial reservation until my parents checked out, was truly top-notch. I have never encountered a hotel with better communication—they were proactive, clear, and operated from a consistent "place of yes." It is clear the entire staff genuinely cares about their guests. The property itself is brand new with outstanding, modern accommodations. Beyond the rooms, the resort offers excellent on-site dining and a beautiful pool area and is right on the beach. The team went above and beyond to make my parents' anniversary special, even providing thoughtful recognition with complimentary champagne and sweets. Make the reservation—you absolutely will not regret it.

Wonderful resort that includes everything needed for a perfect stay. Room was updated, great bathroom, comfy beds. Food for meals on the property which is great especially for breakfast. The weather was a bit cool so unfortunately I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked nice, with a beach bar next to it. Best was that it is located on the beach, worst was that my door was terribly difficult to open, I had to use both hands to push or pull it both from the inside and out. But would definitely stay again!

Quiet resort, very well maintained. Easy to park. Sanibel is dead after 7pm, so you either find a restaurant or eat in your room. The bar here is basic. Bar tenders are unskilled, so order a beer, wine, or anything they dont make. Coctails are pricey, basic, and literally no alcohil. Bring your own bottle, sippy cup, make your own. Pool is small but clean. Sits right on ocean. Take your strong bug spray and off to fight the evening bugs. No kids club. So bring your own entertainment. Overall, its great for adults seeking centrally located. Up half a mike is a cute cajun spot to the left. Good food,get the bloody mary with extra toppings. Then at the right, is a great cafe, Lighthouse Cafe. Best bloody mary on island. Excellent breakfast. Great service, go early! Excellent resort, daily housekeeping. Remodeled rooms. Would stay again! Hope they get a good bartender or better training!
