Meh, we were put in room 105, across from stairwell, noisy. Room was clean and well appointed, there was entire strip of tile missing in the bathroom, weird and ugly. The nightlight in the bathroom stays on 24/7. This normally would not be a problem except for the fact that the bathroom door has opaque glass panels. Pool bar has ridiculous prices...27.95 for two Titos and sodas!!! All of the above could have been overlooked had it not been for the fact that there were no umbrellas provided at the beach. Chaise lounges, but no umbrellas...drumroll, they sell them at the office for 35.00. Tiny, Panama Jack umbrellas. That was the nail in the coffin for me...gauche, to say the least. It was as if you were on a cruise and ANYTHING was extra. Lots of other places to stay at on Sanibel, i suggest you keep looking.

I booked Sanilbel Island Resort pretty much last minute for a surprise trip for my brother, his wife, my husband, & myself for a one night stay. What a great find. Our room on the first floor was quiet, newly renovated, and extremely clean! My brother's room on the second floor was very clean but probably could use a bathroom refresh. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. We arrived early and were given resort wrist bands so that we could enjoy the amentias while our rooms were being prepared. The restaurant on property is well stocked, and the service - excellent! Bar services at the pool bar and BRGR - outstanding! We would definitely return. Sanibel is a beautiful island.

This was my second time here, and both times were great super clean, great pool and tiki bar area, wonderful friendly place, great service. Beach area was awesome. Absolutely love this place cant wait to go back. Staff was excellent!!

Sanibel is healing. This location is the perfect spot to visit the beach, pool, lighthouse, ride bikes all over the island. Pretty much everything you might like to do on vacation on Sanibel. The onsite tiki bar and restaurant are very good and huge perks when you don't feel like going anywhere. Some of the details of the room are aging, like non-smart tv and rattling a/c unit, but these are not deal breakers. A great value.

I paid a resort fee but the resort facilities were not at all convenient to my room, which had a view of a parking lot and another wing of rooms. There were no signs indicating how to get to the beach. Suggestion: If noseeums are so chronic a problem that you have to send a warning with the confirmation, rather than having to buy repellent in the lobby, guests would appreciate having a complimentary repellent made available in their rooms, perhaps in travel sized containers, wipes, or refillable containers.

Great location but not clean

It was a great location right on the beach with an easy walk back and forth. They also had a pool. The rooms are tiny. If you have a family of four you need a full kitchen suite. The two queen room didn’t even have room to open up a suitcase. It was not super clean and closer to a two star hotel for cleanliness. But the location was awesome.
