Nice cabin, but needs work
start with the positives. cabin had good amenities, was clean. Even though we brought some stuff, it had plenty of towels, kitchen appliances, extra blankets, coffee etc. The hot tub was clean worked well, and was the perfect way to end a day of hikes and shopping. Cabin was also in a good quiet neighborhood just far enough from the main center of town for some peace and quiet but super close.As for the negatives, I wish i could get at least a refund on my first night. We got to the area early from san diego and drove by and noticed that the entire driveway, front yard and patio where still covered in deep snow. It was a busy weekend but other vacation homes just next door were all plowed by some company. We contacted the host, who was very nice, and told her about this, grabbed lunch came back hours later and still nothing was done. I had to floor it into the drive way with my jeep and shovel snow for an hour just to get it off the street and then walk all of our luggage through almost a foot of snow, shovel more snow off the patio just to get in. Then once in turn on the heater which took an entire day to warm the place up, even though the host said that they leave the heater on it was 40 inside. No hot water except for the kitchen and 2 of the tvs didnt work. I had to fix things MYSELF and maintenance finally came to shovel only the patio.it was cool cabin the next 2 days but had so many issues that first night that should have been checked before we got there.
