We were treated as family by the staff. Every single one we passed spoke to us and asked if they could do anything for us. We have never encountered that before! And Nicky, who is the general manager checked us in, she was very friendly. She did not look her age at all, and when I commented on it, she told what face lotion she used and where to find it. Well, the next day at breakfast, which was hot and delicious, she comes to me in the breakfast nook, and hands me a jar of the face cream, and says she hopes it works for me as does does her. How thoughtful! And as we were getting ready to leave home, we needed ice. We had a tiny plastic bag, and when Monica, a staff member, saw us trying to get ice, she not only gave us a bigger bag, but got the ice for us, which was a blessing. I never been to such a hotel where they truly care about their guests.
