It was ok. The room had a bad musty smell. We found old stains on the sheets. A soap stain was on the sink, not properly cleaned off. Shower curtain was over the shower rod and when pulled down a moldy dirty face cloth fell off. When i explained to staff, they were less than helpful. Poor customer service!

Lost power 2nd night of stay in the evening, still no power at check out...emergency lights in halls stopped working...trying to navigate down hallways and stairs was dangerous with many areas being completely pitch black. No communication or help. And they still charged us full price!!

Property was not maintained, parking lot full of ice and walkways full of snow. Staff was nice and tried to be helpful. Pool was filling with a garden hose not available during stay, but they sent you to differnt hotel to use there dirty pool. Hotel is falling apart, you can roting wood and flooded down stair walkways. Breakfast was exceptable. If you have a chance to go for the day in mackinaw, stay somewhere else.

I reserved a room by the pool. When I checked in the guy said he “ upgraded” us to a lake side room. So we had to walk across the parking lot to get to the pool and back. It’s November so it was cold. Wish I would have said something. I will next time for sure.
