Unpleasant stay

I would not stay here again. The room we got had a strong odor of smoke. Apparently prior guests had smoked in it even though this is a smoke-free property. This property also doesn’t have elevators, so we had to hand carry our luggage to second floor. I could imagine it would be super inconvenient for guests with small kids/lots of luggages, etc. There’s little to no services. No complementary water for guests, which is a bummer. AC was pretty loud during the night, which woke us up. The only saving grace is that there’s a pretty fun game room and a nice pickleball court.

Great location, right next to the Wapato Point development. It's a couple of blocks off the main drag in Manson, where you can walk along the beautiful waterfront. We dined at Twisted Cork, a great restaurant right next door -- along with a coffee shop. We enjoyed the warm pool and the coffee shop. The only concern was that our room smelled a tad musty, not sure why, since the facility seems new.

The checkin sevice was my least favorite part. Not having a person at the front desk created a minor challenge. We were promptly and very well taken care of after we contacted the customer service line. It was just an unplanned challenge after driving 7 hours and being tired from a long day.

The Lodge was a great place to stay. We have stayed there previously when it was Manson Bay Suites. Even though it is not a traditional hotel set up with someone at the front desk, check in was very easy via getting my door code through text. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We were in town for a baseball tournament and needed a later checkout due to having a late afternoon game. Texted the number provided to request late checkout and Marlon was quick to respond and accommodate our request. Great place to stay!
