Spacious and very clean room, reception staff very friendly when checking in, nice pool area but unfortunately not heated. Breakfast was really nice with waffles, eggs sausages, yoghurt etc. This hotel is excellent value and in a really good location close to the everglades and key west. Few eating places within walking distance.

The hotel property was overall well maintained and comfortable - except for the bed! The king size bed mattress was broken down, lumpy and sunken on one side! One of the worst beds I have slept on in 40 years of traveling! If I were to stay here again, and I might, it would only be with an assurance of a new mattress!

The rooms were clean with a nicely landscaped pool. The bathrooms are in need of a desperate upgrade otherwise it was fine. The breakfast options were great and staff were very helpful and friendly. Something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper, the walls of the rooms are very very thin and we could hear every conversation from the room next to us. All in all, it was worth the price we paid for the room.

Not much sleep in the room we were in, faced the hwy, lots of sirens, something was banging all night long, also we were put in a handicap room with a sliding (pocket) door to the bathroom, could not open the door if it was all the way shut, good thing my husband was able to get the door open. Hard, springy beds. Over all not a great experience!

The heat didn't work, the handheld shower head didn't turn off all the way, the refrigerator was noisy enough that we unplugged it and the toilet plugged up. I felt sorry for the staff member that had to keep offering blankets to those that complained that their room had no heat, it wasn't just our room. Now I know why when he said they were available 24 hours a day if we needed anything like a plunger. This motel needs some major maintenance work!
