The room was okay but the heater temp was set to 80 degrees when I walked in. And it wasn't that cold out. I had to open the window and leave the door open for the room to cool off. The front desk was locked at 9 am when my key wouldn't work after stepping outside. I think I woke the attendant who then took my key after I told him it wasn't working. In his sleepiness, he did not understand that my key wasn't working and I wasn't checking out. I was leaving but I was in a room that required me to haul my things a little distance to my vehicle so it took a few trips. I am not sure why I couldn't stay in one of the many rooms that were empty and immediately faced the parking lot. It wasn't a real welcoming experience but I just needed to rest and then get home the next day. Had I been staying in Mitchell, I probably would have moved to another hotel.

The cleaning wasn't done properly. Everything was literally dirty, and the motel was in a state of disrepair. There was a cockroach in my bathroom at night. I pulled the bed to the middle of the room so it wouldn't get on me at night, and more filth appeared from under the bed.

Room was clean and safe. Beds are double mattress on queen frame. Frame sticks out bumped leg on it. Staff are focused but friendly. Snow recent, parking lot 1/2 cleaned. Iam afraid my car wil be stuck

First of all, I was traveling alone when I pulled up to the hotel it looked kind of scary. I got my room. it was not what the pictures made it out to be. I was supposed to get a non-smoking room. The person next to me smoked outside my room and it came through the vent so all night long I smelled cigarette smoke so I don’t know if the rooms are combined non-smoking smoking I don’t know. I’m allergic to smoke so I so now I’m sick. The bed was a hard as a rock. I didn’t get any sleep so it was not the best place to stay I will never stay there again. I left as soon as I could the next day. Rooms need some work & more lights in the parking lot. Towels were disgusting. Not the best experience..oh & the door to my room would not close completely so cold air was coming into my room..shower was clean..
