The room that we had was very nice. It had a full size refrigerator, had a stove top, microwave, sink and dishwasher. It ended up being better than we had expected it to be. The location was in a perfect spot for what we went there for. They go over the top to make their guests feel comfortable. The valet service and workers were top notch. The beds were comfortable

This was my third time at this hotel in two years. There are plenty of options available for their breakfast. All the staff that I’ve encountered were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend that when you go to New Orleans that you stay here.

If you are flying, definitely the best place to stay in New Orleans. Able to walk pretty much anywhere downtown from the hotel. Great location!!!! If you have a car though, the nightly parking fee is kind of expensive but understandable downtown. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to New Orleans..

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Check-in was advertised to begin at 4:00 PM, yet we were not able to access our room until after 6:00 PM. When we finally entered the room, the toilet was clogged. I attempted to call the front desk, but the in-room phone was not working, so I had to go downstairs in person to report the issue. We left for dinner expecting the matter to be addressed, but upon returning around 1:00 AM, the toilet was still not fixed. When I went back to the front desk, I was told we would have to use the restroom in the lobby instead of our own room, and that the situation would not be resolved until the morning. This is unacceptable for a hotel that guests are paying to stay in. Between the late check-in, the lack of working amenities, and being denied access to a functioning bathroom in our room, I cannot recommend this property.

Spacious rooms and clean Breakfast servers are very slow. Today, it started 20 minutes late. Guests were waiting watching servers working slowly. 4 guests approached a server and told him they needed to go to work and asked for a breakfast to go. He said it is not ready yet. He sounded indifferent. So, left after taking a banana each.

C’est le deuxième Homewood que nous avions choisi, après celui d’Austin. En terme de situation cet hôtel est bien placé, en bordure du quartier français. La chambre était grande et propre . Le petit déjeuner n’était malheureusement pas comparable à celui d’Austin.Je pense que l’absence de gaufres y était pour beaucoup. Sinon nous avions choisi spécifiquement cet hôtel ( plus cher) pour bénéficier d’une piscine, qui était fermée durant notre séjour. C’est dommage. On peut comprendre qu’il y ait un jour de maintenance,mais deux… La nouvelle Orléans n’est pas une ville pratique pour les enfants ( il y a peu d’endroits où on peut aller avec eux) , du coup ils auraient apprécié d’avoir un moment sympa à la piscine. L’hôtel a un parking parfaitement sécurisé avec valet. Forcément ce service a un prix. Nous avons trouvé un parking à 800 mètres ( Roosevelt way) de l’hôtel à 25 dollars la journée, avec un système de paiement « français » c’est à dire prendre un ticket et payer avec ce ticket à la borne de sortie. Ça évite tous les problèmes avec les multiples applications de paiement complexes . Pour en revenir à l’hôtel , je dirais que c’est un hôtel sympa , avec des chambres très bien conçues mais avec un service pas au niveau du Homewood d’Austin.

The hallways were dirty all the time, elevator was dirty too. Breakfast food items were frequently out of stock and if you asked breakfast staff about something they seemed annoyed. The laundry area had numerous broken machines and you could not use the machines without a specific card that was needed to be obtained by the front desk with an additional deposit. There were no signs in the laundry room explaining this so trying to do laundry was very difficult and frustrating. Overall, the staff was very polite and helpful but there are definitely some issues that could be addressed. I love Hilton hotels in general. This one has a lot going for it with location so close to the French Quarter. It just needs to fix issues with cleanliness, breakfast and laundry room.

I liked the hotel but my room was missing the shutters so at night it wasn’t completely dark, the light in the bathroom was malfunctioning flickering like a strobe light thank god I don’t have epileptic seizures. The couch needs to be refurb it’s worn all the way down. Bed was ok pillows are super small. The area is full of homeless people laid on the sidewalks shooting up drugs and leaving needles in the street.
