Well located, comfortable hotel

A 2 night stay in a good triple room (1 double bed and one Z bed). Clean & comfortable room, well supplied with towels & toiletries. Good water pressure in the shower. This is a small hotel, very well located for the Old Town . It is literally around the corner from some of the main sights. Staff were helpful and found good English. My main caveat would be, if booking in the summer, that the rooms are not air-conditioned. But during a chilly week in April it was fine.

Fabulous place to stay in Riga

We were very impressed with this hotel. It is right at the edge of Old Town, within walking distance of all tourist spots. For an idea it's about 10 minutes to walk across the old town (if you are not sightseeing at the same time). Right next to the hotel there are bars and an incredibly cheap but very good restaurant (Ala) and there are other nice restaurants nearby. Room was spacious enough (no7 on 2A floor), clean, bit tucked away from the main area hence wi-fi wasn't working very well. Bed is comfortable and there are tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was superb! More like a brunch, You can find the usual stuff, fruit, ham, cheese, eggs, cereals, but there is a wide variety of local delicacies. For the price we booked it we definitely got a good value for money! Highly recommended!

Vanhaan kaupunkiin sopiva romanttinen sisustustyyli. Siisti., Aamupala hiukan vaisu... moni asia lopussa tai loppu. Leipääkin sai odottaa aika kauan, mutta oli toki juuri paistettua ja maukasta, kun lopulta tuli. Oltiin kuitenkin sunnuntaina aamupalalla jo ennen klo 9.

Loistava sijainti! Aamiainen oli hyvä. Huone oli ihan kiva ja rauhallinen, mutta sänky oli selälleni ihan mahdoton. Kadun ravintoloista tuli yllättävän vähän meteliä, ja korvatulpat oli avuksi.

Huone tilava, siisti ja sänky mukava. Eri tyynyvaihtoehtoja olisi voinut olla huoneessa. Osa henkilökunnasta tosi mukavia ja kielitaitoisia. Aamupala heikko, vanhaa leipää tarjolla, vesimelonit pilaantuneita yhtenä aamuna. Tuoremehu huoneenlämpöistä.

Ahdasta esim. Aamupalalla leivänpaahdin ei käytössä loppuajalla ja muutoinkin todi hidas. Aamupalslla olessamme eräs aamu siivooja oli vienyt kolikot jotka olivat jääneet pöydälle tiesi varmasti ettemme olleet vielä lähdössä pois. Rauhallinen ja hyvällä paikalla sijaitseva hotelli. Aamupala monipuolinen ja vaihteleva.

Ainutlaatuinen miljöö, sviitti oli taidokkaasti yhdistetty modernia ja vanhaa. Ystävällinen, avulias henkilökunta. Hyvällä paikalla Vanhassakaupungissa, lähellä kahta loistavaa ravintolaa. Buffetaamiainen runsas ja vaihteleva. Läheisen discon meteli voi häiritä herkkäunisia, mutta tähän oli vaurauduttu hotellin puolest korvatulpilla.
