The front desk was so nice for my check in very kind it was young front desk agent i dont know his name but he knows what hospitality is and i want to thank GM for going over beyond of service they brought me a delicious cake with a bottle of champagne for my birthday and breakfast was amazing with cooked scrambled eggs and other options my stay was just wonderful and will definitely be coming back

One of my favorite stats ever at a hotel. It was quaint and historic. The suite was like a little apartment with everything you'd need. Breakfast was great too!

Stayed for one night during the Japantown Cherry Blossom Festival a few blocks away. The property seemed in great condition for such an old building. My room was clean and I found the bed and pillows comfortable. The only gripe I have was the shower head which sprayed out a wide and broken pattern due to mineral deposits. Very nice hotel for the price. The staff were all courteous.

Great vintage charm and well kept hotel at a good price. Nice neighborhood around the area and close to Van Ness and other main roads to get around. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean everywhere. If you prefer vintage character over modern minimalism, this place is great. It was a nice change from the sterile chain hotels

My stay at Hotel Majestic was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and responsive to my needs. The guests were from all over the world. The furnishings and decor throughout the hotel were enchanting - even the elevator! The location is within walking distance of CPMC hospital, Whole Foods, Japantown, local dining establishments, convenience stores, and more. And I got to experience the Japanese Cherry Blossum Festival 3 blocks away! Hotel Majestic was very affordable for everything it had to offer!

The owners clearly care for the place. Everything is clean, so the older style doesn't feel fuddy-duddy, but rather "vintage restored." Loved the ceiling fans over beds, the decent water pressure in the shower, and overall elegance from a more civilized time.

Great history of the Hotel. Over 100 years old and has a great vibe with the decor. Great little bar but closes early. Biggest draw back is the parking. You are fighting locals and other hotels in the area for parking. You wake up knowing you have to move your vehicle or go site seeing early. 8am to 5pm 2 hour parking. Strongly encourage a stay here when visitors Japan Town and the best Authentic Food in the Bay Area. Very short walking distance.
