Lovely hotel but felt a little out of place. Did not realize the demographic of people staying here, felt a little bit out of place and felt like I was being a nuisance for being a foreigner by the person I checked in with but their colleague offered amazing kindness and support to help finish off the check-in process.

Great hotel although the room, in keeping with most hotels of this class in Tokyo, was a little small with little or no room to store clothes (we were 3 in a double room though to be fair). Close to both Ryogoku stations and the Sumo wrestling district. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful and an adjoining cafe served great food and open long hours. Area was safe, lots of places to eat or buy food nearby. Would use this hotel again without doubt.

Great hotel in the middle of Ryogoku. Subway is right across the street. McD’s, 7/11x Family Mart are all right next door. Great location for a base to explore Tokyo.

The room we were given initially had an awful smell in the bathroom so we were moved to another, however the ventilation was terrible - the room smelled musty and stale overall. Housekeeping was inconsistent - ie. one night we weren’t given any pyjamas; the room was generally tired and needed an upgrade. There was a lovely young lady with excellent English at reception who was extremely helpful; we would not be returning.

Location of the hotel is perfect for attending Sumo. Or for any type of visit to Tokyo. Less than 1 block to the subway entrance for access to anywhere in Tokyo. Excellent balance of location, budget, convenience and quality. Highly recommended.

Easy access to all the Tokyo train lines, lots of food options around the area, lots of conbini around the hotel. Hotel was in a nice quiet area. Hotel was very clean. Staff was nice and respectful. I would recommend people stay in this hotel for their visit.

Right next to the JR Ryogoku station, newly renovated hotel was clean and in a great location. Would be slightly improved by having in-building washing machines.
