Hotel was just okay. Rooms are a bit dated. I’ve stayed in quite of few of the neighboring hotels and I’ve never had to pay for parking. I was charged $10 for self parking in an unsecured lot. Probably will not be staying here again.

Housekeeping every 3rd day not disclosed till I was checking out, without having any service. Shower water pressure low in my room. Tv picture snowed out or kept freezing up, making me miss essential parts of movie. PRO: king suite was spacious enough to fit my entire apartment and I got to check in early, and I like the 12 pm check out, staff was polite and friendly.

I have stayed at this property several times over the past few years, not sure if they have changed owners or management companies, but the stay this time was disappointing. It does appear they have done a refresh on some items however the rooms need more attention. Specifically the beds. The bed in my room literally had a creator in it, about the size of a watermelon. Certainly time for the mattress to be replaced. Also, beside the bed there was gum in the carpet. The hotel also has that old stale hotel smell, not fresh or pleasant. They now charge $10 for parking, which for the area of the hotel is odd. The employee who checked me in was nice and friendly. However the employee at the front desk in the morning, was preoccupied with his cell phone, he did not even look up or acknowledge me. I hope they can get it together.

The price and value for this hotel is awesome, however, please also note that there is $10 parking fee (which is also marked on Hotels.com), and $5 charge per person over 4. For a family of 5, this hotel probably the cheapest but still offer decent service around Washington DC. Even though there are additional fee for parking and additional person, the value still better than other hotels around DC area. If you are traveling to Washington from here at the morning around 9:00, expect to be 1hr - 1hr30min drive. The room is amazing, not only it can sleep 6 people, but also the toilet is separated from the bathroom which is very helpful for big family. The free breakfast do not offer much. There are no scrambled egg, bacon nor waffle. Also, the guy who check us in was AMAZING!

Gross.

We were there for 2 nights. There was a large clump of hair in the elevator for the duration of our stay. Additionally, the floors were dirty and sticky. The lobby bathroom floor stayed wet and there was no toilet paper or paper towels stocked from Friday- Sunday despite the front desk politely being made aware.
