The Imperial Torquay
Hotel has a very nice interior but dated in parts. External is solid concrete and outside areas need a bit of updating. They advertise their external pool but looks like it has been out of action for a very long time. Staff were excellent, breakfast was very good.

White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns
Hotel was a good location, however double charged me for my stay. The initial quote was given however have seen they have charged me double the amount stated. Room did not have any amenities, kettle dirty, no bottled water, heating didn't work. Shower dirty.

This is a lovely hotel. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Fresh laundered white bedding and towels. Very good breakfast and we had one evening meal which was also very good.
