Loved the style and the built of the hotel. The room was clean. I only ate one time at the Restaurant, what I ordered I did not like. Lump crab cakes, Not the "lump" crab that I know and love, but full of bread crumbs....

No it was stale cereal, staff was also sitting in the chairs when i entered. That was NOT appropriate. They couldve at least moved or acted busy when they saw me. You may well order food because I wouldnt even feed that to my kids,very disappointing!

The room was very clean. Parking was well lit and the lot was large. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was not a true continental breakfast, but it was there and available.

Hyatt Place Birmingham/Hoover
Hotel is very worn and dated. It took 3 tries to get a room that didn't have a musty smell and had a shower curtain. We stay at Hyatts frequently and this is the worst property we have stayed at.
