Great little spot right in the heart of Mt. Dora. Very convenient and walking distance to everything. Would recommend but be aware some rooms are fairly small. Reserved a room that was supposed to sleep 4 for a girls weekend. We were in Amethyst (room 3). There was one full sized bed and one queen pull out. Both the bed and the pullout were extremely comfortable but when the pullout is open it takes up the majority of the sitting room. Spacious bathroom though. Just difficult to move around the room when the sofa bed is in use. But for the location it was worth it and I would stay again. Built pre-1900s the house is quaint, very private, clean, with parking on property, and an adorable courtyard area.

The room was clean but it could use a real coffee maker. The one there is tiny and plastic and did not make drinkable coffee. Also, the area outside patio and entrance to suite is slanted, and outside area is a bit in need of updating and care. The location is fantastic and otherwise all was good.

New favorite spot to stay in Mt. Dora! From booking, through, check in, and during the entire stay, a well executed and curated space. For a historic building they've done a great job to make it comfortable. Shower is a bit tight as a result, but otherwise all perfect!
