Good location but there is very little soundproofing in the rooms,you will hear everything in your neighbour's room. Also there is a police station at the rear of the hotel so you will also hear siren's during the night

Great Layout for Friends Trip Getaway to NYC

We got a corner suite (2 Double Beds and 1 Double Sofa Bed). Pretty good layout and spacious. Rm 2330 has Empire State building view, very pretty at night. Parking is off site but a short walking distance away (you get a discount). Building is old and has it own charm. It had the old school showers but the water pressure is amazing lol. For the intent of our stay, it worked out perfectly. The pull out sofa bed was comfortable and we still has designated space, a dining table, to eat and gather.

The hotel was great for a quick weekend trip, but ultimately, the space was dated. The bathtub kept filling up when showering and the sink had limited space to set anything. There were visible cracks and wear around the room, and the bathroom door was difficult to shut. There was also no controllable AC.

Room was great, bed was comfortable, only suggestion is adding a mirror in the room due to the small size of the bathroom with 2 trying to get ready. And maybe make the desk smaller to put a suitcase out. No place to put suitcase rack without tripping on it in.

Hotel staff were great, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a few good restaurants, which made grabbing a meal after work super easy. I don’t want to rate the beds too harshly because I’m used to a Tempur-Pedic mattress at home, so I don’t sleep well on spring mattresses. Now, something the hotel has no control over, just an NYC issue, we couldn’t walk 10 steps in any direction without walking into a cloud of pot smoke, and if you walk out early in the morning you will be approached by homeless people asking for money. We had one follow us to the Starbucks across the street. But the hotel was super convenient to Javit’s Center, and they do have good security measures in place, so I would recommend it on that alone.
