The staff was friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately our room wasn’t clean upon check-in. They did move us to a different room, which I appreciated, though I felt the photos online looked nicer than what we actually got. Not a great first impression after a very long travel day. The food downstairs at the restaurant was great, but the room keys kept deactivating throughout our stay. I had to go to the front desk 3–4 times for replacements. Overall, it was an okay stay, convenient location and fine for the time being, as other hotels were sold out or I would have switched. I probably wouldn’t stay here again if you’re looking for an above okay hotel.

If you want to be scammed out of your money, stay here. Over priced and underwhelming. Hidden fees and terrible rooms. The doors don’t lock. The bathrooms have mold. There was rust on all the metal. Stains on the floor. Cracked tile. It is new york city, but I booked months in advance. I asked for a room change and was charged and extra. The “newly renovated executive” room was worse. Extremely disappointed.

Just got back from Tokyo and LA.

Its proximity to Penn Station was very ideal in that I was able to walk there in under five minutes. I got a good night’s sleep, but was a little stunned by the small size of the room and the dimness of the hall way. Still a good hotel and great location.

This is an old hotel but it was well maintained. Staff was very friendly. We are at the hotel the first night, at the diner. Food was yummy and prices were expected for NYC.
