Rooms were nice. We booked two and they were next door from eachother so that was good. Staff were very accommodating we asked for many tea bags and elastic bands at the front desk and they were happy to help. Friendly. Rooms were clean.

Hotel Artemis Amsterdam – A Disappointing Stay I stayed in a Superior Double Queen Size Room at Hotel Artemis Amsterdam, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. From the start, the issues piled up: the room key cards didn’t work properly, and I had to go back to the front desk multiple times just to gain access to my room. Once inside, things didn’t improve. The mattress was uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Even more concerning, I encountered bed bugs, which is completely unacceptable at any level of accommodation. Additionally, the room had no utensils, which made even simple tasks inconvenient, and none of my requests were brought up despite calling the front desk several times. The shower had almost no water pressure, making it difficult to wash properly, and the internet connection to the in-room media channels didn’t work at all. To top it off, there was no room service available during my stay, which was never made clear at the time of booking. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. The basics of comfort, cleanliness, and service were simply not met. Rating: 1/5

The hotel is located away from the city center but within good connection by tram into the center. The hotel itself is nice, the staff are very friendly, the gym is terribly small and breakfast is ok (slightly disappointing). The only significant downside would be the surrounding water around the hotel is stagnant therefore causing lots of flies and mosquitos. A big inconvenience to us as we have allergies and need windows open for ventilation.
