Extremely Noisy, deceiving with photos, stay away, don’t book I don’t recommend this hotel. - it is extremely noisy. tram, train, bus passes by your bedroom making it impossible to sleep every 5 min. It is so loud. It starts at 5am until mid night. - bathroom is small and cramped, so different from the photos on the website - this hotel is deceiving people . - windows are shut with steel rod going across making you feel trapped inside. - We booked 5 months ago and they gave us the worst room of this category us the worst room of this category. - they should categorize these rooms as noisy and quiet rooms and ask ppl to pay more for quiet room then we would have paid more and booked those room. Rather than a lottery. - we were walking around Amsterdam like zombies as didn’t get any sleep throughout our 4 night stay. Don’t book this hotel. It is terrible.

The hotel was wonderful. Our room was roomy with convenient amenities like a mini-fridge, dishes, and cooktop. The neighborhood itself is in a more industrial-feeling area, but is close to the primary bike path that connects to the city center. The train, metro, and tram station were just one block away making transportation options and access very convenient. Would stay again.

Nice property with great proximity to all forms of transportation, as well. Staff was polite, but mostly indifferent. Convenient to have kitchen facilities. Air circulation system was interesting.. two big vents in bedroom blowing straight down on bed and another right on top of the shower blowing cool air while trying to bathe. Functional, I suppose, but odd all the same. Appreciated being out of the hustle of central Amsterdam while still having easy access.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The convenience of having a kitchen with supplies and a microwave, with cleaning supplies provided by the hotel, was also greatly appreciated. The location was also convenient for taking public transportation to all our destinations. Would stay here again!

Perfect for driving into Amsterdam, parking on the outskirts and then getting the train/tram into the centre just around the corner. Room is cosy and has microwave and sink for self catering which was nice.

Train just outside window (elevated tracks about 20M from window). Trains stop in the night for only about five hours. Due to medical conditions, we needed an early night, but could not sleep. Paid for three nights but stayed only one (our health was not worth the cost of two nights we forfeited). Hotel very inflexible and refused any help. Also has not refunded two days of unused parking fees

We stayed here for 22 nights last July and genuinely it was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I couldn’t fault it at all! The staff were absolutely lovely and were happy to help at all hours of the day and night, always greeting you kindly and I appreciate that so much. The area was perfect, right opposite Sloterdijk station which is legit 5 mins from Amsterdam centraal, and 10 mins the opposite way to the beautiful Zaanse Schans. I felt safe enough to travel by myself to centraal and back without my partner, which I was hesitant to do in a foreign country, but it felt so safe. The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept, stunning interior and everything you need. This is probably the only place I’d ever stay when I come back to Amsterdam! Thank you so much!

The hotel is located next to public transportation hub, accessible to train, tram and bus. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. I will recommend it to 1st time visitor to Amsterdam .

Hospitality without soul

Far away from centre of the city, in the middle of new business district. Nothing to do/see in the neighborhood, with the exception of cool Breakfast Club nearby. Transport links from/to the airport and Amsterdam central train station are usually great (7-10 min on Sprinter train), however when there is rail maintenance work, count on 25-30 min travel time by metro or tram to the centre and Uber back after clubbing is at least 25 €. Room was decent, with comfortable bed, but the bathroom was so cramped that one cannot use the toilet comfortably. And last, but not least, I checked out 50 min after 11 am (on a morning after the change of the clock forward) and was charged 10 € for the "late check out" - first time I ever experienced that after visiting 100+ hotels across the world...

My room was new looking and clean. Not huge but had everything I needed to cook simple meals or heat up takeaways. Excellent value in handy location. I rented a bike for 2 days - it was fairly heavy but in excellent condition.
