The hotel was average at best got in the elavator to go to my room and it wouldn’t work couldn’t get the doors to open up or get it to go to my floor tried pushing the emergency button but it wouldn’t work so I called my wife in the room and told her to call front desk and let them know she called 3 times and couldn’t get anybody to answer the phone finally I managed to pry the doors open and get out after being stuck in there for around 20 minutes then when we went to leave had to wait about 15 minutes to get somebody to the front to check out and get my deposit back won’t stay here again

Fairly clean. Could use a few updates. Also our shower leaked the entire week we were there. Also could smell cigarette smoke coming from other rooms. That was unpleasant. But if we were in the area we would stay again

This property looked very nice, and had a lot of options nearby for food. the room we stayed in was quite nice, and the shower had really nice water pressure. The breakfast was also really good. the eggs, biscuits and gravy, and sausage gave me a great start to my day. The only downside is our sheets were clearly not washed after the next guest, with stains and body hair scattered about them.

I really hated it. The elevator was broken we started on the second floor but the tv wasn’t working the lights were flickering so they moved us to another room that smelled like mold and mildew so we couldn’t even walk in it. They moved us to the third floor. There was an odor throughout the entire property. Just hated the stay.

Not accessible. Dirty.

My three kids and I stayed for one night in order to attend a birthday party the next day. We had to make a last minute decision due to the weather. I specifically needed an accessible room and did my research before booking. I have stayed in La Quinta before so I wasn’t expecting it to be a bad experience. Let’s just say from start to finish it was not pleasant. The receptionist was welcoming and booked us into an accessible room on the second floor. however, the elevator was broken. We got my 13year old daughter out of the car with her walker and all the bags and were unable to get to our room. The elevator had a big issue and got us stuck 4-5 times. The day we left we had to carry her and her walker down two flights of stairs. The room was not accessible. She could not turn or get into the bed on her own… we could not get anywhere if she was next to her bed. To get her into the bathroom, she had to block the entryway, back up, open the door, then go in. The tub was not accessible. It just had a seat, and if the seat was down, you could not close the curtain so water went everywhere, causing more hazard when she got out. She almost slipped and I caught her. I hurt myself getting her in and out of the tub, then again getting her up and down the emergency stairs. There was stains on the bed, stains on the roof and the floor, and it smelled rancid. We will never be staying at La Quinta again.

Terrible. Got stuck in the elevator, lobby smelled like bath and body works times 15 but not in a satisfying way. .I ended up with the WORST headache because of the smell. Our bed was on its last leg…literally. Dated everything. No comforter on our bed but the other bad did have that at least. Tub was dirty. Housekeeper was too lazy to actually replace the toilet paper and just sat it in the counter. The roll was empty. Front desk staff was nice but not attentive.

Hotel needs attention in various areas

It was very fair! Elevator was working gap hazardly, so I had 3 flights of steps repeatedly to climb. Coffee machine at breakfast broken. Lots of attention needed at this hotel. Overall it wasn’t the worst stay I’ve had at a hotel but they will have to do more for me to book again. And I will say we stay at this exit for Talladega race twice a year, so unfortunately I won’t repeat this stay. At best, good in a pinch!

No shower

It took a long time to check in. When we got to the room, the key didn’t work. Went back down and the new one didn’t either. The fourth key worked. We finally got in the room and it smelled like smoke and the smoke alarm was chirping so they gave us a new room. I got up to take a shower and the water was cold. I let it run for at least 10 minutes and gave up. Water in the sink was warm.
