Nice stay in Hot Springs

House was nice and well appointed - Host was helpful with any questions we had during our stay. Bed rooms bed were comfortable with tons of extra blankets and pillows. Driveway is very tight so if you have multiple vehicles plan on also doing street parking. Street is quiet so we had no issues with parking in front of the house. We did bring two of dogs and the only issue we had was a corner of the yard is only covered by 3' tall fence. My dogs never tried to jump over the fence but it was something that forced me to keep a closer eye on them while they were outside. My family would stay here again.

Mixed feelings about this place

We enjoyed our stay here - the house was spotlessly clean, and the yard was safe for our 2 small dogs, although larger dogs might be able to jump the 3 foot-high back fence section. Jeff was always available and helpful, but I felt I couldn't give it 5 stars for several reasons. This part of Hot Springs is economically depressed, and it shows. The 1 mile walk to the Bath House row takes you by run-down houses, old cars, broken sidewalks, and knee high weeds. However, the people in the neighborhood were friendly, and we never felt unsafe. The house itself was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had a modern kitchen with everything you could want. The rest of the house felt like we were staying in my grandfather's place - too much furniture with funky/questionable old pictures and paintings. Although you can't change the neighborhood, with a little redecorating - maybe a woman's touch? - this could be a really great place! Then it would deserve a 5 star review.

Hot Springs Half Marathon

We met friends in Hot Springs to do the Hot Springs half marathon. Home is very comfortable and nicely decorated, well stocked with supplies. Enough room for a one yr old and two VERY LARGE dogs. Within a comfortable walking distance to the downtown shops. Had a lovely time.

Clean, fully stocked, just outside downtown Hot Springs. The check-in/check-out process was easy. They was plenty of parking, the fenced in area was perfect for the traveling puppy. Close to downtown. Perfect for our quick vacation.

It felt like we were home! Thank you for all the special touches!

The house was beautiful and well maintained. The bed was cozy and comfortable. The sheets were soft. Everything was provided, making it truly feel like home. Great selection of cookware and kitchen appliances. We did not lack anything. New stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, and dishwasher. A wonderful porch for morning coffee and night time wine sipping. The double recliner was a wonderful place to relax after a day of sight seeing. Great air conditioner! Jeff the property manager called us shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was in order. He was just a phone call away to answer any questions we had. Thank you Jeff for being there for us. It was the best vacation we have had in a long time. Very relaxing and stress free. Things to improve on: The fence between the yards needs to be taller. I would not leave the dogs outside alone even though there was a doggie door. It would be a good idea to put up a gate so that the dogs cannot go back around the air conditioner. Additional lighting at the end of the yard would be helpful. I took a flashlight. Bikes were not provided as stated in the property description but that wasn't a problem since we brought our own. I would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect Location

Loved our stay in Hot Springs! This is the perfect location for being close to downtown but out of the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed walking to town, the food recommendations given by the property manager, and the coziness of the home. Also, perfect backyard if you're brining pets. Would definitely recommend for your stay in Hot Springs.

So nice to find a pet friendly place!

No complaints, the a/c was very efficient (wish the one at my home worked that well). The house provided everything we needed EXCEPT a truly fenced in yard. The side fence is a foot or two tall, and not really effective if your dog can jump higher than that. We had to take our dog out on a leash. Otherwise, it was good! Thank you!

Early in the COVID pandemic we had kept our vacation plans to Arkansas. This house was just the right size and amount of privacy. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate but we were able to make our own meals and hike while social distancing. Amenities were clean and newer. Great central location to walk through town and drive up to Lake Ouachita.

Every utensil you could think of, pots, pans, dishes. Laundry facilities. Bedding comfortable. Dining and living room seating plenteous and comfy. Used wi-fi and Netflix during stay. Close to downtown activities. Owner helpful.

First VRBO rental

Everything went smoothly. Property is close to downtown which makes it easy to walk. There are not a whole lot of Uber’s/lyfts during the day so being close to walk was very nice. We had a great time.

Close to EVERYTHING!

This house was perfect for our visit to Hot Springs! It is close to everything and we did it ALL! Bathhouse Row, shopping & wine tasting downtown, bike riding, boating and swimming in the awesome nearby lakes and lots of taste testing at the local eateries! House was clean, comfortable and had all the comforts of home! We were traveling with a family of 4 adults, 2 labs and a mini pup. Great enclosed front yard for our fur babies and very comfortable inside for us! Bonus; owner called while we were traveling there to welcome us and give us contact info, had to text him once, immediate response. Would stay again!

Home Away from Home!

We were visiting family that live in Hot Springs and needed a place to stay. This home was a great fit for our family of five. My father-in-law had his own queen bed with a private half bath and our two kids had their own beds. The home had all of the supplies you need to make meals. The home is tucked into a quiet neighborhood minutes away from shopping and the bath house area. The home is just minutes away from great hiking trails. We will book with Jeff again when we come back. He was very nice and helpful with any questions we had about the home and local attractions.

Great Time in Hot Springs

We are a family of 5 (3 children: 8, 11, and 15yo). The house suited us well. There were enough beds for each child to have their own. Downtown Hot Springs (Central Ave) is within a very, short driving distance (or a bit longer walking). Home is very well stocked with anything that would be needed --- dishes, pans, coffee maker, large refrigerator, high-capacity washer, dryer, etc, etc. Also has A/C which was nice given that it was definitely hot during our stay. Furnishings were comfortable and the house was very clean. Owner was very responsive to communications and offered several recommendations for dining, etc. Would definitely recommend this property and Hot Springs for a nice family get-away/vacation.
