Newish hotel. The rooms are nice, new and clean. Oddly no way to iron a shirt, but this may be the new low amenity design. Check-in felt like a Motel 6 versus a major brand.

It’s a beautiful property. The service sucks!!!! It’s hard to reach the desk by phone, the microwave was broken, the coffee creamer was like cottage cheese, my room wasn’t cleaned at all!!!!!! I stopped by the desk on my way out for the day and asked if someone could please come up and clean the room to include changing the linen. When I returned, it had not been touched. A terribly rude man was sent up. I was on a phone call when he started banging on the door. When I opened the door, he literally shoved a stack of towels in my arms. He didn’t bother to remove the dirty ones. My sister and I accumulated trash because nobody cleaned the room. The male stood in the hallway, popped open a bag and nodded towards the trash. I opened the door all the way and told him no, you come in and empty it. I felt ignored and totally disrespected. My needs were not met!!!!!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Aloft Lake Buena Vista many times, and the reason I return — despite countless options in the area — is the exceptional service. Anahi, Mell, Brayan, and Cesar always greet me warmly, making me feel like a truly valued guest. Patty from housekeeping ensures my room is spotless and just the way I like it every day, which means a great deal to me. I also appreciate the larger gentleman from maintenance, who always checked in to ensure everything in my room, from the shower to the air conditioning, was perfect. There were a couple of small hiccups — including a housekeeping staff member being less than honest about a situation involving some items being thrown out, and Giovanni at the front desk never answering calls in the evening — but David, the manager, handled the situation reasonably and professionally. The team’s kindness, attention to detail, smiles, and the fact that my preferred room is always ready and perfect are why I keep coming back. Looking forward to my next stay!

Overall a nice stay. Couch bed had crumbs so there wasn’t any cleaning done beforehand. There weren’t any trash cans in the hotel room either. There also wasn’t a new roll of toilet paper, it was more than halfway gone when we got there.
