Everything was great, except for the staff. The only person who greeted us was the first desk person, and that was only at arrival. After checking in, there was not one other instance where the front desk personnel said good morning or goodbye during the 6-7 times that we arrived or left the hotel. The front desk is next to the entrance for goodness sakes. They need a heavy dose of customer service as well as cultural sensitivity as they were quick to smile and carry on with white customers and passive towards myself and my two other guests. My money is just as good as anyone else’s and this apparent disdain for people of color was just disgusting. I am saying this as a long-time Hotels.com customer and if this is not addressed with Best western and this is repeated, I will no longer use your service and certainly not use Best Western again.
