1) The primary problem we had was the wifi. It was unusable. The network (TIKI_HALE) was almost always disconnected or connected without internet. Spectrum technician was called in, tried to fix, but it was unsuccessful. A second request for help wasn't answered. We are writers and use computers/wifi extensively. Had to use our own phone hotspots for entire stay -- at additional personal expense. Had to use hotspot to watch TV too.2) Master bathtub is unsafe. We added a mat and removable grab bar.3) Patio table is badly corroded. Needs to be replaced.4) Front door lock is finicky. We were unable to open house with it -- had to call support to access a lockbox key.5) Interior lighting is dim and one bulb was out.6) Found one bedbug in master bed.7) Had a problem with flies. Purchased fly traps to get under control.8) Kitchen screens fell out in wind. Had to put back in place.9) One faucet in hallway bathroom is faulty.10) Eaves troughs leak and water doesn't reach downspouts.

Spacious & well stockedThe photos don’t capture the spaciousness of this home. The living room is big, as is the dining area & kitchen. It’s well stocked in the kitchen for cooking, including utensils, pots & pans, pantry items & dishes. Also there are plenty of beach items to utilize. The outdoor shower was a welcome stop when coming home covered in salt & sand. The home was hot upon arrival, but we got the ac & fans going, and it cooled off. The backyard has a grill and table & chairs in a lush garden setting. Beds were comfortable on the firm side, which we prefer, with plenty of linens & towels. The swinging chair in front was the coveted spot to relax. Great location in princeville with quiet neighborhood. Communication was clear, consistent & easy. We’d return!

The house was great just as described. There was a lot of space for our group of 4 adults and one kid. Hot tub worked perfectly and they provided coolers, beach chairs and beach umbrella. Great space in the living room and kitchen area but I could see how it could get hot with no AC in the summer. the two

Calm and quiet

I stayed at this property with my family for 10 days. I’m giving this property 3 star solely on the classiness. Everything else was good. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. The house was spacious and kitchen was well equipped. The washer and dryer are old and clothes were not cleaned. It was also hard to wash towels in the washer because during the spin cycle it would go nuts and move around. The floors weren’t vacuumed well and we could feel sand when walked bare foot. The shower heads were old and rusty. I think the cleaning crew can do a better job of cleaning especially when the cost is built into the booking.

December getaway trip

We had a blast and were greeted by lovely notes and even a birthday ballon. Everything was very clean, ample of toiletries like shampoo, lotion, shower gel and conditioner. Ample of towels, both bathroom and beach. Even coffee and other goodies. Kitchen has everything you need even Tupperware. Can only highly recommend this place, especially for families the backyard is great and cozy.

Very nice stay

Great location near to all amenities in princeville and convenient to get to all north shore areas. Very comfortable,clean with everything we needed, including water toys and cooler. Only downside was afternoon heat that made living room too hot even with multiple fans and open windows and sliders. Only AC is in bedrooms, which was great, and we spent most of our time in the lovely backyard patio anyway

Lovely spacious home

We enjoyed our stay so so much! This house was great! It was a lovely home. There was plenty of space for our big family. It was clean when we arrived. The garden was very beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and it was a wonderful home to come back to at the end of the day. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. The outdoor shower was very helpful. Having a washer and dryer there with detergent which was very very helpful! There were plenty of towels for both shower and beach. There were great beach toys and a few boogie boards and beach chairs. We actually ended up buying 2 more boogie boards and left them there for future renters. We also left 4 walking sticks for those that want to hike. Overall this home was such a wonderful vacation home. We will come back the next time we visit beautiful Kauai.

Needs a few things

The property overall was ok. Nice neighborhood location. The master bedroom bed was too hard for me. I have to drive to Lihue to buy a mattress topper. The Matt in the bathroom is slippery. I stepped out of the tub and the rug slipped in the the floor. I ended up hitting my inner leg on the rim of the tub. I have a pretty big bruise. It’s nice to have air conditioning, however room conditioners are very noisy! They are not in all rooms. Overall, it nice to stay in Princeville with the beaches and good Resturants. The road past Hanelei can only be accessed by permits which you need to purchase a month in advance. The shuttle needs to update their website to let you know in advance that a beach my next closed to waves.
