Welcome to River Place on Sackett. This is a beautiful, sleek, modern condo on the banks of the Arkansas River. Riverside Park is just steps away, as is historic downtown Salida with fine dining, coffee shops, art galleries and boutique shopping. Grill and/or enjoy cocktails on one of two patios while watching the surrounding wildlife or, just down the riverbank, the whitewater frivolity.

Great Property in Salida

The check-in process was quick and easy. Communication with the host was great - they responded quickly to my questions. The property was very clean and well furnished. We had everything we needed for a quick girls getaway. The location was even better - closer to F Street - than what I had anticipated. Nice quiet neighborhood. Close parking. It was great to sit out on the upstairs patio for breakfast and be able to see and hear the river. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sackett Place! It was plenty big for our family of 5 and we loved the location. Once parked, we didn’t need the car again, as the city is so walkable. Highly recommend this spot for an active few days in the summer!

Great experience at Sackett Place on the River

Me, my partner and son and girlfriend stayed 4 days for President's Day Weekend. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Great location just a couple of blocks from downtown and the park. Biggest surprise is it was right on the river. We skied during the day and my son, who is an avid fly-fisherman killed the brown trout about 100 feet outside our back door. He got over 10 in an hour (all released). Thank you, we will be back.

Great fir a weekend get away! This is a quiet and secluded location m, yet minutes from downtown. The sound of the river is very peaceful as is sitting outside on the patio! We will be booking again soon!

Excellent location in Salida, walking distance to town, relaxing sound of the river, nicely appointed and decorated, quiet location (though may hear river rafters during the day which wasn’t an issue for us since we were out hiking). Would definitely love to stay there again.

Excellent Condo on the River

Very nice condo with upstairs balcony over the Arkansas river. This location is paradise! The condo complex is a smaller complex that is very well maintained. This was my 5th time staying at this complex (1st time at this unit but they have all been great). Highly recommend staying here. The booking is easy and the management company is very professional.

Lovely, well appointed townhouse that had plenty of space for two couples and an infant. Location was perfect as well. Tv wasn’t working properly and Terry tried her best to get it fixed to no avail, however she was prompt in her response. Would 10/10 stay there again!

Terrific townhome in such a sweet little town!

We had a lot of fun walking downtown and wandering the shops. Don’t miss the Little Red Hen Bakery, the Boathouse, and Vital Living. For hot springs, Cottonwood isn’t far. They’re pretty basic but clean and relaxing. Do the river plunge while there!

Lovely and walk to town

Fantastic place where you can walk right into town a few blocks away. Park right down the street. We live in CO and have stayed at many vrbo rentals. We felt this was one of the nicest with the best value. Lovely decor, spacious, river outside. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had a family of four and went to Monarch one day and Ski Cooper the next. Great location.

One of nicest places in Salida for the price

We have been to Salida many times and this is one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed in. Loved the murphy bed so our second teenager had a bed/space. Beautifully decorated, has everything you need. Great location.

Girls weekend

Great property on river and close to town so everything can be walked to. Very clean and great layout with plenty of room. Did not use the kitchen for cooking but if we were there a longer time we would have and it was well equipped. Would stay here again.

Heaven on the River

Really beautiful place with tasteful pleasant artwork greets you as you walk in the door. The patio was lovely for sitting out on. The deck off the master bedroom was perfect for morning coffee/tea. It was warm enough to leave the upstairs windows open so we could listen to the river all night long. Very relaxing. The property had everything we wanted and all items were good quality. Would love to stay again ING the future. This is the nicest place we've stayed in Salida and we visit the area a lot. Thanks for a fantastic anniversary weekend.
