Only stayed here for one night. Got the most basic room - double bed for my partner and I. It was our first time in Vancouver and the room felt like it needed better air circulation. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is okay, but I can’t say amazing! The air conditioner was so noisy that I wake up every time it started. The refrigerator has the same issue, but I solved the problem unplugging it during night. I am not sure if a refrigerator inside a wardrobe meet the safety requirements. The room is okay and has a very good shower! It is always good to start a day with a good bath! Staff friendly! The TV is more a computer screen on the wall. Location is good; close to restaurants and walkable for most attractions if you like to walk.

The pictures were really deceiving. Smells weird in the building parking is very inconvenient. No pool or hot tub ect. Beds were basically just springs. And the room was uncomfortable, dirty feeling. (Not saying they don’t clean, but when the place is this old you can’t get rid of smells and the grimy feeling). I immediately left somewhere else I have no clue how this place currently has 8.6 stars… yikes. The front desk staff was lovely and very nice. Just strictly speaking on the place it’s self.

A short stay for a first timer

It was actually a good stay even if it was a short stay but one thing that I was looking for on that day was a free toothbrush and a toothpaste and it was a sudden decision to book a hotel room for an urgent purposes and I don’t have anything with me. And also, I forgot my charger so I need to go down to borrow one maybe the front desk forgot to orient me in everything like what do I have to dial to call them. And more importantly I haven’t got my $100 back for pre-authorized I think still the front desk didn’t talk more about that though it was my first time to book a hotel in Canada. Overall it was fine for me
