First time at Crimson!

We arrived quite early, around 11 AM, and were informed that the room had already been vacated and was being cleaned. However, we still had to wait two and a half hours before getting checked in. It would have been nice if the room had been prepared earlier. We also noticed that groups who arrived after us were escorted to their rooms before us, which was a bit disappointing. That said, once we got into the room, everything changed — the view was absolutely spectacular, and it made us almost forget the bad check-in experience. I loved that the hotel has its own private beachfront and several pool options to choose from. And the food — it was superb! Another downside for me was the airport transfer. We had to pay for it, as they said only bookings made through their website include complimentary airport transfers. I found that a bit unfair, considering we stayed at the hotel just the same. It’s definitely something they should reconsider.

Crimson is always great. We've been there so many times already and we keep coming back. One thing they can improve is the breakfast organization - too crowded and the tables are too close. You feel you're eating with other people on the table so there's practically no privacy. Apart from that, Crimson is quite good.

There was a total of 9 of us in my family that stayed here. I’m so glad I found this place. Already missing the breakfast buffet. The 3 Infinity pools, with the big main one being on the beach was amazing. My husband and I, along with my sister-in-law and her husband also got a couple massages. Which was also amazing. Our grand dinner on the balcony of Mosaic made it an even more memorable vacation. The only thing I bummed about is missing the foam party…. But that just means I have to come back. And Crimsom is my new go to spot for Boracay.

This property is great. I’ve stayed here 4 times now. The service has taken a major decline from a year ago. Many times we didn’t receive orders for food or 45 mins to get a drink after waiving someone down. Breakfast is great but didn’t get an omelette two different mornings and constant follow up for items requested.

Review: Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay – Where Five Stars Don’t Shine When we planned our holiday stay at Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay from December 20 to 23, we chose this “five-star” property expecting luxury and precision—because that’s what you pay for, right? Instead, we discovered a resort where five stars seemed more like an aspiration than a reality. First, let’s talk about the suite I deliberately upgraded to. I wanted a newer unit to ensure comfort and quality. The result? Bathroom lights that stubbornly stayed on all night, providing us with an unintentional spotlight to ruin our sleep. Not exactly the dreamy island escape we envisioned. The buffet was another low point—and not just for its food variety. Several “uninvited guests” (read: flies) were comfortably lounging on the pastries. When I called the staff’s attention to this less-than-appetizing situation, their solution was to shoo the flies away, leaving the compromised pastries for the next unsuspecting guest. Moments later, a new fly had “checked in,” and the cycle repeated. Clearly, the flies are more consistent in their service than the staff. When I escalated this to the resort’s WhatsApp team, Nico, the front office manager, stepped in. To her credit, she was courteous and helpful, offering us a villa with a plunge pool and ensuring the restaurant staff handled the insect issue better. A commendable effort, but should basic food hygiene really require an escalation? By our last evening, I decided to
