Our room was not ready at the time they said it would be. The host was nice and apologetic and comped us a couple beverages. However. The booking site was unclear that there was no lift. Our room was on the fourth floor. We booked a double room. The main room was mediocre and the second room had no windows. The place is older and has some upgrades but they were fairly low quality upgrades. Overall I'd give it a pretty low rating based on how much money we spent. Look closely at the photos before you book.

There were a lot of dining options - Chinese, Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, even American fast foods. The hotel was very close to 2 underground (tube) stops - very convenient. We were able to sightsee in one day. The only downside was that there was construction going on at the hotel on the 3rd floor and our room was on the 2nd floor. Construction started early in the morning, not good when you’re trying to rest.

The hotel is currently under renovation (Fall 3025). This may cause some minor inconveniences to some guests because there is some construction noise. Our room was already renovated. It was very clean, comfortable and looked great.

Loved the location and being right across the street from Hyde Park. We found lots of options in terms of dining and it was walkable to most landmarks. The room was smaller than we thought but we chose the newly refurbished room and it was lovely!

Helpful staff. Good choices for breakfast buffet including vegetarian/vegan. Close to Tube, bus stops, restaurants, shops. Rooms are small with little storage space for luggage and little space for moving in the entrance and around the beds.

the air conditioning was broken and while provided with two fans the room was very hot and uncomfortable....I don't think they should use a room when there is a fault like this and the A/C is vital for a basement room
