Downstairs room was very cold on arrival due to AC turned way down. A little tired decor and curious floor tiles in the bathroom that were very spongy underfoot. But the hotel was clean, well located and well priced.

The location is excellent, close to Kings Cross station. The room itself is minuscule - no room to turn around, and forget about having two people standing up or moving at the same time.

Check in poor customer service. Completed online check in and that did not work either. Dirty, wet towel left in wardrobe. Coffee machine broken. Air con/heating noisy. Shower temperature control faulty and scalded on cold. Room advertised was not in Judd but another building further away. Lower ground floor room with no soundproofing so when anyone walked on the pavement above it was audible at night. Expected much better, room was unloved and shabby.

The room is adjacent to a large heating/aircon unit. The hotel has many complaints about the constant noise emitting into the room. We had little sleep. The staff were excellent and said that it had been reported to the owners. We were offered 50% refund. Its should have been 100%

Location was very nice just a bit tight in the room with a couple of suitcases. The area was very nice and the staff very helpful.

Excellent location, within walking distance to lots of amenities, attractions and transport links Staff were so very helpful and friendly. Assisted with heavy luggage down tricky staircase with no hesitation Breakfast service was abundant and staff attentiveness was on point. Choice was baited- hot, continental, fruit, cereals, yoghurt I would most definitely recommend and stay again Value for money without a doubt! Thank you

We had a lovely stay. Comfortable, clean room. Friendly reception staff. Breakfast included - it would have been nice to have mushrooms on the hot breakfast and some fruit to go with yoghurt etc but aware there is limited space. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.

Perfect

Great spacious room, lovely staff, and a filling breakfast for the busy day ahead. Based in a lovely little street in central London overlooking some tennis courts. Doesn't feel like being in the middle of a busy city at all. Couldn't be happier.

I woke up at 3 am my first night of an eight night stay to bed bugs crawling on me. The night desk clerk found me another room on the "third" floor (it's really the fourth, because the ground floor counts as the first), but didn't offer to help me move my luggage from the ground floor or inspect my new room for potential bugs. Management never contacted me to apologize or check on my wellbeing, I had to contact them. They did refund two nights of my stay, but because I was traveling for both work and vacation, my room was booked on two cards and they automatically refunded the first card. So my company was refunded, but I personally didn't receive anything from the hotel. Bed bugs happen, but I am so disappointed in the lack of concern shown by hotel staff and management.
