The hotel is ideal for events in Hydepark 10 minutes from Lancaster Gate underground. We booked a compact room and that was an error. The room is indeed compact but the bed is super compact! Not ideal for 2 middle aged people. The air con was welcome and the bathroom was well modernised

We were staying in the basement room in which we had very minimal access to wifi, the walls were covered in damp and it was extremely hard to get down the stairs provided. The bedding spelt like cigarettes and didn’t feel clean.

Great location. Lovely touches to the room. Great service from reception and when contacted. Super fast and friendly service from maintenance when contacted about the air conditioning. The beds are very comfy.

The property was in a great location but that’s pretty much it. Our AC in the room did not work, when we ordered room service no one told us it would be delivered to the front desk (not room service obviously), and overall was an older hotel. I wish I read the reviews before booking a stay here, the hotel was run down and not up to a 4 star hotel. More like a 2 star hotel. Staff were friendly & had a wide array for breakfast.

Tuesday Night Stay

The area is nice and close to Paddington Station so super convenient, staff was nice. The beds were literally the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in, the pillows are also cheap and hard. They advertise AC but it’s controlled by the front and I was ignored when I called and asked for them to turn it down. The room had a fridge and it was very clean, if only the bed was more comfortable this place would be perfect.

Great overall

Quick and easy check in, friendly staff. Hotel was clean and tidy and included a tea and coffee station, a small fridge and packs with toothbrushes and toothpaste and shower caps. The bathroom also had very nice shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately we were in a basement room so the view was of a grimy brick wall and the rooms werent very sound proof at all. When it rained the toilet gurgled and splashed so much we had to keep the lid closed.

Really good location. We were there attending a concert in the park really easy to get too. Also easy to get to paddington for getting around to see the sights. Hotel room was lovely and was clean! Breakfast was tasty. Would have liked it to be on until a little later 10 seems a bit early when your away! Staff were helpful and friendly. Would happily return. Thank you
