Best location, walking distance to tube station within zone 1 and direct line to Heathrow airport. Several dinning options, from eco-budget friendly to refined. Supermarkets (several!) within walking distance. Rooms are a reasonable size for a longer stay, the fridge in the room is super handy to have to keep food and drinks. Bed was VERY comfortable, room was very quiet at night, we had wonderful sleep.
The property was in serious disrepair. The property is obviously old. That’s okay and even expected in that part of London. But it was unclean and very smelly. The carpeting in every area was highly stained. The front desk staff was inattentive. There was no fell off being welcomed but rather we were processed in. It seemed like no one was trained in hospitality. It just wasn’t worth it.

The hotel plan to refection then any effort to repair the damages on the room. I do change my room because the toilet had not commodity. Then second room w had the same problem. My stay was short by I won’t advise the hotel to someone
The rooms do not appear like the photos in the ad. The employees were great, but the hotel walls were unpainted in common areas and our rooms. The bathroom had a lot of black mold in the shower. Rooms were not overly clean and very small.
Can’t fault the hotel, great location, clean and tidy, good breakfast. Would prefer a larger room and a double bed but given the price it was perfectly adequate.

Rooms was extremely dusty.
Lobby was extremely dusty.
Easy check in. Or room 005 was in the basement facing the road. There was little noise from the road so it never bothered us. I left something in the room and it was returned to me within 5 days. OK for one night whilst attending the Royal Albert Hall concert which is in easy walking distance.

Lots of different types and sizes of rooms. Great location for sure. Only bad thing is room kept getting really hot, no air but a window that opened a crack. Good deal for the money I suppose.
Stayed at this hotel as attending a night time event at the Natural History Museum and wanted somewhere close enough to walk back from, very close and felt very safe
We stayed in the junior suite and it was like straight out of an episode of Bridgerton! The room was so clean and comfortable. The hotel is also centrally located with many restaurant options plus a Waitrose for groceries. Would definitely stay here again.
To begin with, I was placed down in the basement, and on the way down there I was hit by the strong smell of must and damp, all the way through the halls. It was foul. My room didn’t smell as bad thankfully, but the state of the room was not what I expected from a hotel at this price range.
There was a large black stain in the middle of the carpet that looked like half a boot print or something. The skirting boards were flaking and rotting. The bedside light was literally swinging from it’s fixtures. Very poor quality indeed. I was incredibly disappointed.
The stay at this hotel was a good experience.
Friendly staff, very clean and quiet room and bathroom. Also a very comfortable bed which is a priority.
Very convenient location a few minutes walk from Gloucester Rd tube station.
