After a weekend in Paris we booked this hotel so we could lie in as check out not till 12pm unfortunately we were woken by workmen drilling/sanding as I think the hotel was renovating other rooms Such a shame as everything else was brilliant

SO NOISY! Staff brilliant. Room clean. Really comfortable bed. Breakfast excellent. Sadly for London sirens from the hospital next door were going all night long as were people shouting or motorcycles speeding down the road. Very little sleep had! Sorry!

Room wasn't the best but it was a good size and functional. Floors need to be redone. Air conditioning was leaking. Water drops hit me in the head every time I came in. Soaps and such arent great definitely bring your own. Staff was friendly, helpful and very professional 10/10. Location is super convenient 10/10. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for 2 nights for a business trip, solo. The entrance/reception area was very well presented. The restaurant was good and I enjoyed the dinner. The room doesn't have sound-proof windows, my room faced directly onto Tottenham Court Road, and there is a hospital very close by, this meant the room was very noisy during the night. The room size was good, the mattress was a little too solid for my own liking, but that is a personal preference thing. The gym was a decent size for a hotel of this size, but it did smell strongly of damp, not just sweat/body odour. Also, the water from the taps, bizarrely, was slightly greasy; I hope it had nothing to do with the construction work going on on the first floor. Overall, I would not stay here again, unless there were no other options in the area.

Hotel lobby is nice, accommodation is roomy and location is great. However, state of the room was a bit alarming. Carpet was old (and I mean OLD), where I wasn't even sure if it was clean (this was actually what the front desk agent asked me when I went downstairs to ask about the state of the carpet). It was pulling and unraveling badly in many places, and the walls were also dirty. I know it's central London, and I'm not the pickiest of people, but this made me a bit uneasy. Rooms should at least somewhat match the overall state of the hotel's common areas.
