A gem of an hotel

I had to decide whether to share my experience or keep it to myself. This is a gem of a hotel, close to Paddington station that offers a warm welcome, comfortable bedrooms and a hearty breakfast. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much. The Nespresso coffee maker in the room was an unexpected bonus. Why did I wonder whether to share of not, maybe It would be better to keep it secret so I would be able to book again!

Great location to get train and bus links all over London. Small and conpact hotel. We were offered an upgrade for a small price which we took as a family of two adults and two teenagers. The hotel is very tall and thin, very compact corridors. Did the job for us, wasnt so great Id go again but would recommend as there was nothing offensive. We stayed in February and the rooms were super warm (a bit too warm)!

Nice double room for 2 for 1 night. Clean, small, ok size, bathroom a bit awkward with a step up into the space of an airplane washroom, no extractor fan so steamy when showering but functional. Breakfast included and free drink in a bar across the street but everything we asked for wasn't included in the offer so left.

Stayed 2 nights in February 25. Staff very friendly and heloful, unlimited free tea & coffee in the pleasant lounge and in your room. Very nice and modern breakfast room with excellent breakfast. Includes free drink per person at a pub around the corner! Room we had was a little on the small size but okay. They are modern styled, stainless steel everywhere and the ensuite was a self enclosed cubicle, not stylish but functional although ours was a little worn A 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. Overall very good.

Lovely hotel for the price 😁 I stayed in a family room with my two girls. Would definitely stay again. If you like walking you are in a good area. Nice walk through the Hyde Park to Exhibition Road, so you have three big museums on this road. 4min from Paddington station to explore more of London. Not far from Kensington place or the Marble Arch. Simply great value for money, lots saying rooms are small, you get what you pay for, and I personally felt they suited price and were warm and cosy. Kids liked that MC Donald's was just 1min walk. The hotel bar Sussex Arms is comfortable and welcoming. Had a free drink each so even more lovely. Very helpful staff, great that they hold your bags safe before you depart officially from London . Also great that if your room is ready you can check in early, with out extra charge. Though 14.00 is a great time to check in. Super plus after a big buffet breakfast your checkout is 12 mid day. So you can chill and let you breakfast rest. Or you maybe hung over lol. Going to hopefully stay for Notting hill carnival as it's only two stops on the underground. Thank you Stylotel London for looking after us 👍

Great modern hotel 5 mins walk from Paddington station. Small room but with everything that you could require. Very generous offering of tea, coffee etc. in both room and lobby area where you can sit and relax. Enjoyed the 2 free drinks at a local bar. Breakfast was delicious and with plenty of choice. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms in the basement and although small it had everything we required, it was comfortable and clean. We had a nice cooked breakfast in a clean and comfortable seating area . The owner was very welcoming and went above and beyond the call of duty. We would definitely return on future trips to London. Good value for money.

Great staff! Need a ramp though as two large steps and I walk with a stick and solo rooms extremely small for the cost of the room. Nice touch that you get an alcoholic beverage at the local pub and cleanliness very good and bed comfy
