The lobby, common areas, location are great. Those dreadful secondary glazed, dirty windows so common on older buildings and terrifically expensive to upgrade let the overall feel down.

We didnt have the best welcome. Reception was blunt. Never encouraged to use the onsite facilities so we didnt. We over heard a breakfast deal which had it been offered to us we would have used it. Room was clean. T v remote cheap and very hard to use

Poor guest communication and air quality

Poor communication for scheduled fire drill. Minimum 24 hour notice to guests should be provided. We were woken up by fire alarms twice. Even after fire drill there acknowledgement on lack of communication to guest. Air circulation is poor in guest room and breakfast buffet area. Strong perfume like smell in breakfast buffet and reception area led to allergy like symptoms headache. Fresh air outside relieved symptoms almost immediately.
