This hotel as the potential to be one of the best in London however their little to no organisation and service for a high calibre hotel was awful. The lift situation is a mess. The service is shocking when checking in was told to approach the desk by what look like the manager of reception area/Front of house and then he stated one moment and left the desk to speak to colleagues and wait for another 5 mins before he approached us to check us in. The bar service again was poor waited 15 mins for a drink when the bar was half empty. For the price of the hotel we would expect a higher level of service.

The property did not have proper facilities for seniors with lots of luggage until you entered The Cumberland Hotel inside and then they had concierge (which were wonderful) and porters

I stayed at The Cumberland London for 7 nights with my wife and three-year-old daughter, and we were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The location is outstanding, just steps from Marble Arch, Hyde Park, tube Station, bus stops, Selfridges, and countless restaurants and convenience stores. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with every staff member, from security to bell team to the front desk, greeting us with genuine kindness. Our room was clean, tidy, and offered plenty of space for a family of three. I especially appreciated the smart elevator system, which minimized wait times during busy hours. A fun and unexpected highlight was the Back to the Future musical display, complete with the original DeLorean car, which delighted both adults and kids. Another detail that really impressed me was the eco-friendly program offering £10 to spend at hotel shops if you skip housekeeping. On top of that, the hotel provided thoughtful complimentary touches like drinks, biscuits, and chocolate in the room fridge, which you rarely find elsewhere. Most impressive of all was their fast and attentive service; whether we needed extra coffee pods, more towels, or had to weigh our suitcases multiple times right outside our room, the staff always responded quickly and cheerfully. Overall, The Cumberland exceeded our expectations, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. We can’t wait for the chance to stay here again.

Excellent location at the top of Marble Arch. Breakfast choice was good but it felt too tightly packed. Recommend getting a Costa from the ground floor and bringing to breakfast. Band and DJ were excellent. Rooms cosy. We upgraded from standard double and tbh not sure of the difference. Would I recommend YES.

Perfect Trip

Everything was excellent!! The hotel has very nice big rooms, the concierge was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It is located near a lot of fantastic shops and department stores.
