Room very clean, as well as the bathroom – very clean by British standards. Air conditioning would be useful on such hot days. The only downside is the noise coming from the street, but that’s because the hotel is right next to the train station. Despite that, I highly recommend it.

First visit here as I usually stay at another similar hotel very close by The reception area is neat and tidy and offers a range of snack items. I was given a warm welcome and the very friendly/helpful receptionist helped me with my bag and also sorted out a minor door issue. My single room was a good size, at the back so I was spared any road noise as the area is generally busy. Overall was very pleased with the room facilities and as it was mid week, it was internally quiet but I think I got lucky with fewer people than would be around for a weekend. Also extremely convenient for all transport/food options. Will definitely book again.

Convenient for St Pancras & Kings Cross. The room was compact and basic but noisy. Front door to the property slamming, floorboards creaking from the room above and the rumble of the underground below.

We stayed on 2 separate nights and found the stay good. Only a couple of comments - We were woken up very early on the 9 June with a lot of noise from the patio are outside our room. Also we found the staircase down to our room quite narrow, especially as we both had luggage with us. However, overall we would recommend the Alhambra Hotel.

Weekend stay

The hotel is a short walk from St Pancras station so very convenient. The rooms are compact but very clean and well equipped. We were out all day so just wanted a comfy bed in a clean room with a good shower, so this is exactly what we got. The reception offered snacks, toothpaste etc for sale at reasonable prices along with some breakfast items for those who didn’t want to eat out. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to store our luggage so we could make the most of our final day and collect bags on the way back to the station.

Great location

Fantastic location within minutes of St Pancras. Rooms clean, freshly decorated and well appointed. Bathroom / room small but no different to other city hotels. Staff super friendly. Great for short stays.

Perfect location for my early morning train from St Pancras. Both members of staff I saw on check in and check out were friendly and informative. My room was spotless and clean. Friendly cleaner who was cleaning in the corridor when I arrived at my room.

Liked it was close to St Pancras as we were using it to go on Eurostar. The staff were very friendly and hrlpful.The only negatives was our room was right by the shared toilet so we heard the door quite loudly during the night. Plus you can hear other guests and their doors which cick shut loudly. Not the hotels fault as its an old building but some guests on our floor were back and forth in and out of their rooms and to the toilet til around 3am! And the other was lack of a lift but that was only due to us having three suitcases, the stairs are narrow and we were on the third floor. Overall it gave us somewhere to stay overnight close to our train station and it was relatively cheap.
