Henley house

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at this hotel, it had a great location with tube station, bars, shops and restaurants just a very short walk away. Hotel was very clean with lovely friendly staff. Only negative was the room I booked was very small, I wouldn't recommend if you were staying for more than a couple of nights as we stayed in the small double room. I would definitely stay there again but book a standard or superior room next time.

Decent hotel in a great location. Rooms are average size but very clean and quiet. Breakfast was limited. Overall very reasonably priced and comfortable for the location.

Excellent stay

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel smart, room clean and well laid out. Breakfast sufficient but as it doesn’t start until 7.30 rather a rush to check out and leave for a train early.

Probably the sixth time I have stayed in this hotel. It’s comfortable they do a good breakfast.and the staff are really nice..Roberta and Annette like to make the guests feel welcome, and there’s no reason whatsoever that the next time I am in London we will stay at Henley house hotel.

Small, boutique hotel with nice touches of luxury

Excellent location just around the corner from Earls Court tube station and easy walking distance to restaurants and fast food outlets. Very quiet street. My single room on the top floor had a nice outlook over the park, lots of natural light. The room was small but very modern and had everything I needed with a few nice touches like a robe. It was very comfortable although I am a small person and I don't think it would be suitable for very tall or large people. Cleanliness was average, could have been better, but adequate. Shower pressure was very low, but that could be due to being on the top floor. Some noise at night from adjoining rooms, especially when people are outside in the hallway, but this is probably to be expected in this type of small hotel where space is a premium and it is difficult to install sound proofing. Free breakfast was very good, especially enjoyed the pain au raisins which were delicious. Front of house staff were super friendly and helpful, right from check in to check-out. No problem storing luggage following check-out until it was time to go to the airport. Free spiced tea and biscotti at reception was nice too.

Loved the location and the staff, they were great! Only complaint is the breakfast. While it was free it was basic for what I expected in London. I felt like I was eating at an Italian hotel. Cold cuts, cheese and overdone eggs. The croissants were good! Overall, I’d stay again!

I stayed in the small single room for two nights. I was greeted warmly and was pleasantly informed about the hotel and the area. Very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and enough for my stay, the amenities were great, including a bottle of water in the refrigerator. The only slight letdown was the space in the bathroom. Don't get me wrong, the bathroom was fully equipped and served its purpose. The letdown was having to sit sideways on the toilet because there's no room on the right and the sink is to the left. The shower was refreshing, though, it was a squeeze going in sideways as the gap to get into the shower was approximately 28cm or 11 inches. Not ideal for a majority of people. The breakfast was good enough for coffee, freshly baked croissants, yogurts, fruits, meat, cheese, bread and rolls. Plenty to choose from as was the drinks, different teas, chocolate etc. Cannot fault that and the breakfast staff efficient and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant stay and very thought out rooms with the amenities and power outlet for phones etc.

We had a wonderful stay. Pros: breakfast was lovely, location to Earls Court station, friendly staff, elevator, well appointed rooms with lots of outlets & places to put our suitcases, good sized bathroom Cons: lighted screen on the desk phone that randomly turns on at night, a leak into our bathroom from the floor above when they showered

Great stay, the customer service needs improvement

Overall, a pleasant stay with clean rooms and a great location. However, I was disappointed by the attitude of one of the front desk staff. This issue kept it from being a perfect experience but it’s still a solid choice.
