We booked an 11 day stay and could not stay even one night because the it smelled of old rotisserie chicken and mold. We left right away.The host sprayed air freshener as VRBO suggested. The place would need significant restoration of the outside unit- mold and mildew in the hot-tub and oversized koi fish led to toxic fumes trapped in the adjacent apartment. Health hazard to anyone with allergies or respiratory issues.I had a dog and 10 year old child with me and was a mom by myself trying to finish out the school year as we were transitioning to a new home. I had to book a hotel room for the full 11 days and was left without compensation from the host as he refused issue a refund.If you are going to have a koi pond, make sure the pond is big enough to accommodate large oversized koi. Because the koi had outgrown the pond, they emitted toxic fumes nitrous and ammonia gases along with bacteria and feces in hot GA weatherAll these fumes were trapped inside the VRBo rental when the owner decided to air out the place by opening the window. Overall, it was a nightmare.
