Elevators broke down which made everything hard to bring the stuff up and down. They charge for parking and there were no parking

This hotel has been completely renovated with everything new. It is a few blocks away from the hub of Albany but well worth it in so many ways. Breakfast goes to 10am. Nice staff and room prepared nicely.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. My room was very clean; however, there was inadequate lighting in the room. There was very little natural sunlight, and there could be more lighting in the main area of the room. My biggest disappointment was the shower. The shower head and mechanism with w/the tub needs to be replaced. It didn't switch fully into shower mode, and the spray/water pressure was either painful or just a trickle. Lastly, my room key kept stopping working and I had to go back downstairs multiple times to get it reprogrammed.

Our stay was pretty nice! Even though our AC wasn’t working the condition of the rooms were suitable. My only gripe was the AC. That said, the desk gentleman offered to move us. If we were staying longer, i would’ve.

Check in was very fast. $10/day to park in the narrowest of spots. Hotel layout is surprisingly spacious and room was very comfortable. Bathroom door needed the screws tightened though.

Was unable to control the thermostat. Room couldn't get above 64 degrees. Walls very thin, could hear neighbors. Surrounding area was run down. But the room was clean and easily accessible to Downtown Albany.
