The hotel is located in a perfect spot right in town right close next to the uncle Sam boat tours. Close to shops and restaurants. Everything is in walking distance and nice views of Boldt castle. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Parking could be challenging, limited spots. Outdated beds and linens extremely uncomfortable. Guests above us easily heard walking around. Could be nicer accommodations, like bed/pillows and better curtains that actually block light. But at the end of the day, prime location on the River, right on main street restaurants/shopping and River cruise launch.

Favorite place to stay!

I have stayed in many hotels, some very high-end, and Capt. Thompson's Resort is my favorite, by far. My room was directly on the water, facing Boldt Castle. The view is amazing, and the room and the linens (even the blankets, which hotels typically do not wash every time) smelled amazing. The location right in town is great too, you can walk to shops, restaurants and Uncle Sam's Boat Tours. I've stayed there probably 10 times, and I plan to go back year after year. Well worth the price!
