Room was clean and neat as expected. We arrived in Alexandria Bay 4 1/2 hrs before check in, and staff said it was fine to park our car on their lot. They put us on a priority list for Room availability while we toured local attractions. A little after 1:00 pm Gabrielle called and said our room was available. Great experience.

It is a small resort that was very convenient for the boat tours that we wanted to do. There were also other places that you are able to drive to....winery, town of Clayton. It was a fun place to explore.

Captain Thomson's Resort is terrific. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The rooms all have views of the water. There are pubs and restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Ideally situated property directly on the St. Lawrence River. Balcony overlook to scenic views of adjacent islands and boat traffic. Within walking distance of dining and shopping. Rooms are updated, spacious, and comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable. We had a 2nd floor corner room with a side window in addition to the front facing water view window for a light and bright interior room. The staff was verry inviting and helpful, and although we arrived early our room was ready to check in.
