The room was exactly what Tru advertises: compact and intentionally designed that way. Storage was minimal — coats were hung above a microwave with no separation — which isn’t ideal but is consistent with the brand. The pool was nice and well maintained. The issue occurred at breakfast. My 7-year-old child with special needs briefly wandered the breakfast area without shoes. There was no posted sign or visible notice requiring shoes in the breakfast area. Instead of speaking to me — the adult and parent who was present — a staff member approached my child directly and loudly yelled, “YOU NEED TO HAVE SHOES HERE,” loud enough for the entire lobby to hear. If there is a footwear policy, that is fine. However, policies should be clearly posted and communicated respectfully. Yelling at a young child, especially one with special needs, rather than having a calm, adult-to-adult conversation with a parent, is inappropriate and unnecessary. Because of how this was handled, I would think twice about staying at this Tru location again.

My stay from the 14th–18th was initially unplanned due to travel delays, but I’m truly grateful it happened. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern, and incredibly comfortable—the beds were amazing and provided some of the best rest I’ve had while traveling. The showers were equally impressive, with great water pressure and a spa-like feel. The lobby lounge was perfect for getting hours of work done without interruption. Breakfast was fresh, hot, nutritious, and delicious every day—special thanks to Miss P., who was thorough and went above and beyond in every interaction. I genuinely loved every aspect of my stay, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, from housekeeping to the front desk. Trevin made my stay exceptional through his outstanding hospitality alone, and because of him, I plan to book again. Joey was also kind and provided warm, personable customer service. What began as an inconvenience turned into a relaxing mini vacation. Thank you all so much—I would happily visit again.

The water tasted moldy from the tap. Room temperature was hard to control, cold air blowing when it reached temperature Place was clean but thats the only positive. The $50 hold on my card is ridiculous, no other chain does that. You have the card on file if need be.

First room had stink bugs on the table and on the walls . The staff member was nice enough to upgrade me to a better room but when going to bed I realized there were bugs in there as well just not as many. I used to love this hotel but this time there seems to be a stink bug infestation.

I was unaware (maybe there was something I did not read) that the Tru part of the hotel was the minimalist side. Therefore, you get one nightstand, no outlets to plug anything into on that side with the nightstand, no closet or dresser to store anything, and the bed is literally a boxspring mattress which was SUPER uncomfortable and killed my already bad back after one night. If you’re cool with all that then you’re good. The place is clean and the staff are super friendly.

I am so glad i chose this hotel for our trip. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the rooms were very clean, and the location was super convenient. I was able to get a good workout in at the gym facility and although i didnt use it, the indoor pool was a great option. Everything in the room is supplied for you—hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The hotel is pet friendly and you wouldnt even know it. Next time i travel to the area, ill be staying at this location.

Room and bathroom were very clean. Window blind in our room, 323, didn't work. When trying to put it all the way down the button didn't work. It went all the way up and didn't stop till we hit another part of the button. We then had to stand there for 5 to 10 minute pushing the button one at a time to get it to come down a half inch. You might want to check it out. Our stay was very good.
