In this area you have nature right on your doorstep. The golf course in Sorknes is not far from the house. There are good opportunities for excursions on foot or by bike nearby. There is also a soccer golf course on the golf course. If you would like to go fishing in this beautiful landscape, there are several good opportunities. The Rena River is considered one of Norway's most attractive rivers. With long stretches where the river flows quietly through the landscape and a very rich insect life, it provides a perfect base for dry fly fishing for large fish. Up to 12 different species of fish have been recorded in the river, and there is a particularly good population of trout and grayling. There are also pike in some parts of the river.



In addition to the Rena River, there is also good fishing in Glomma, Søre-Osa, Åsta and Julussa as well as in several good mountain lakes. You can also visit various attractions in the area, such as the Norwegian Forest Museum and Glomdalsmuseet with its activities in Elverum. Or visit Osen to try out water sports activities on Lake Osensjøen or visit the Sørlistøa Flea Museum.
