Parking was easy, room was huge and comfortable, hotel was clean and safe, with helpful staff. Dining not available on site, but good restaurants within walking distance and many others within a 5-15 minute drive. Also, in room mini fridge and microwave for easy breakfast and reheating leftovers. Did not have children with us, but hotel did not appear to have activities for children. However, parks and bike trail within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Such a unique hotel! The rooms were spacious and so quiet! We appreciated the coffee and snacks too! Easy check in and out. Within walking distance to local restaurants too!

Nice clean rooms, large modern bathrooms, quirky with nice common spaces, front desk very welcoming. They have safe garages space to store bicycles, and it is very close to the canal bike trail.

The amsterdam castle is uniquely decorated and steeped in history. Vety helpful staff and so friendly. Stars Cafe a local diner was great for breakfast or lunch. The ambiance and welcoming vibe had us stop again after leaving lake George We will stop again at the hotel if we are able.

It's true! A man's home is his castle!

What a find! We loved staying at the CASTLE! What an historic place! The kind staff greeted us and was an informative tour guide! Thank you! We were overwhelmed at the splendor of the entire place. When we got to our room, it was warm and cozy and completely met our needs. I can't wait to go back!
