Georgetown Lake, Discovery and the Pintlers

Welcoming retreat with numerous comforts and amenities surrounded by lake, mountain and many outdoor experiences just outside the door.

Comfortable, spacious split level mountain home with stunning views of the Pintler mountains and Georgetown lake from most rooms in the house. Plenty of cushy seating in living room with giant picture windows facing the lake and mountains. Fully equipped kitchen including dual fuel range with double ovens, gas stove, huge refrigerator and freezer, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of dishes for your crowd, including gear for buffet style dining. Master bedroom with full bathroom and 4 additional bedrooms. Porches on front and back with outdoor barbecues. Outdoor patio space and fire pit, as well as yard big enough for kids to play. Downstairs recreation area with gas fireplace, sofas, television for movies DVD library) and wet bar.

Surrounded by beautiful scenery, and close to local attractions. 15 minutes to Philipsburg, 24 minutes to Anaconda, 12 minutes to Discovery ski area. Fishing in Georgetown lake or nearby Rock Creek and Big Hole River. Golf at Fairmont or Anaconda's Old Works course. Mountain biking trails including downhill runs and lifts at Discovery ski area. Road biking all around.

Internet access with WiFi is capable of streaming movies and video chat. Sonos sound system for your music and other audio streaming. Minimal television or radio reception.

This home was perfect for our family Christmas. Very roomy with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, dishes and kitchen gadgets. Having the large oven and refrigerator was nice for all our cooking needs. I loved the copper theme throughout the house. Plenty of rooms for all of us that were very clean. We enjoyed a day of skiing which was just 10-15 minutes away. Not enough ice for ice fishing - maybe next time. We were able to have our dog, which is nice because not many places will accept pets. The road and driveway was plowed for us. We are already talking about another Christmas here.

Our group of fishermen has been staying at this property for the past 4 years. This year seemed to be the best as the house was in great shape, the owner was easy to communicate with and we had no problem during the 7 nights we stayed there.

Great place to enjoy winter sports!!

Loved our stay. We were close to Discovery for skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling just minutes from the house. The house was perfect 9 guys and it never felt crowded. We would go back in a heartbeat!!

Loved this house.

We had such a nice time at this beautiful home. Perfect location to go to Discovery and do some skiing or go down to Georgetown Lake for ice fishing. There was space for all of us, and we have nothing but positive things to say about it. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Yearly family get together.

We have 4 couples, adult female and one 5 year old that gather after the holidays are over to enjoy some relaxing fun family time. The house was perfect for us all to enjoy each others company but to also spread out for time alone if needed.

Guys fishing trip

This is the third year that our group of 7 guys stayed in the house. We love the access to areas of Georgetown Lake that we enjoy fishing. We will probably stay there again next year, but are hopeful that the cleanliness of the house will improve to previous standards. A clean refrigerator, outside grills cleaned and we would love at least half of the kitchen supplies removed and replaced by common useable items - mixing bowls, decent knives. If you plan to stay there and cook, you would probably want to bring essential spices and good knives to work with. There is plenty of old spices and other goods that are left by previous tenants, much of which should be thrown out. Little things like no salt in the house made us realize that we need to bring essentials.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Georgetown Lake. The house was large enough for our party of 9. Two of the rooms have bunk-beds, so that is one thing to consider if you are traveling with all adults. Definitely a plus, if you have kiddos. The house was equipped with all you need to make delicious meals. As others have mentioned, the hood over the stove is broken but we just opened the windows if we needed air flow. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others looking for a stay by the lake.

Terrific group property

The property is located in a prime spot for lake fun or skiing. Beautiful house with ample space for a large group to gather. Access to the home is very easy. Very easy check-in/out. The view is fantastic, sunsets should be enjoyed from the front deck (or front room) every night. Every amenity you need for a comfortable stay are on site, especially the well appointed kitchen. Overall a lovely experience. Thank you for making the home available.

Great weekend getaway

The property was great. It was close to the lake and had plenty of room for our large group. We loved the large kitchen because we did a lot of cooking for our group. The exhaust fan over the range did not work and we set off the smoke alarms however everything else worked out great for our stay. Thank you!
